I made the first recipe...

10% Dry4
5% Caramel
5% Bavarian Cream

I used my ultrasonic cleaner for 4hrs on it...
It is very weak tasting. Although it is very smooth...it just has a hint of flavor.
It has been a couple days now, and it is starting to turn a light gold.

Is the Ultrasonic cleaner not my answer? I mean it was not a harsh vape at all.... actually quite smooth...just low flavor.
Will this enhance over time?

I just got the same TPA ry4, mixed 10% with 50/50 nic, 36mg, it tastes really florarish!! not at all like the ry4 I have from ec blends. it has goten a bit darker, I am going to wait a week and see if gets better, if not I will cut it with some of my non flavored 36 mg nic.
by the way this is my first time DYI ing.
I also made some mad cow, and some lemon/lime, those came out good and are getting better by the day.
I am bummed with this ry4, it is my all day vape
Any advice on how to make it better would be great, it is not bad or non vapable, just not what I was expecting.
like ordering ribs and getting chicken!!

Flavsfood,
I like you have been vaping EcBlend RY4.
I had a bottle or the TFA RY4 regular and agree with you.
I've got a 5 ml sample I mixed @ 5% about a week ago and it is still floral tasting.
DoubleRY4 is a WHOLE different flavor!
I mixed a sample of Rwhy4 which is the recipe Azphat12 posted with the exception of Caramel Candy instead of Caramel.
To me it tasted delicious, after a few hot baths and some shaking.
I didnt' stop vaping it until I finished the 5ml I had made.
IMO, if you like EcBlend's version, you'll like this one.

I made the first recipe...

10% Dry4
5% Caramel
5% Bavarian Cream

Azphat12,
The sample I made of this was great.
My mix was @ 76/24 PG/VG 18mg nic and the flavor was definitely there.
If you are using a higher VG concentration maybe the flavor isn't represented as well.
I would check Hoosier's blog, It might just be a matter of adjusting (probably down) the % of flavoring vs Nic juice.
I can't really say what color my juice was because my sample bottle wasn't clear and I dripped the entire bottle.

Ended up with this as my favorite so far. Have made 5 batches of this tweaking it.

Only been steeped a week but this is my new favorite vape

6% Double RY4
2% Caramel Candy
1.5% Bavarian Cream
1.5% Vanilla Swirl
2% Capp Hazelnut

So good, made 2 more bottles to steep because I really want to try this after 3 weeks but there is no way this first bottle will last that long.

I have a new batch of DRY4 made yesterday and put up to steep.
20ml 36mg 50/50 nic
5.5ml 50/50 PG/VG
3ml DRY4(Ecig SIG.)
1ml Bavarian Cream(DIY FS)
.5ml Catalan Cream(FA)
3 drops Dulce De Leche(Ecig SIG.)
After shaking i popped the top and the smell was out of this world.I was tempted to fill up a tank of it and vape it away in one day, however,i put it up and it is steeping at the moment.I hope it vapes as good as it smells when it steeps???

Wow! I can't believe u guys can handle that much of the dry4!! I tried 1ml in a 30ml bottle and it was just too sweet, and too much flavor. I now usually mix .3ml to a 30ml batch of 70vg 15mg

The only reason it seems like so much in my case,my last batch 30ml's was at 10% and it did not have/seem like enough flavor there.I only went up 5% with this batch, and the DRY4 flavoring i am using is not the highly concentrated version.

I could not resist i dipped into the 30ml i put 18 drops in my RDA and vaping it right now.It definitely needs to steep, but it is not bad,not fully blended, but not bad.It has a harsh creamyness to it right now with the caramel in the background sort of.The sweet flavors i thought would be coming thru are almost non existant. Not sure what to think of this flavor i mixed at this point?? It is actually a nice relaxing vape in a dripper can't wait for it to fully steep now.

My problem is patience with DRY4. I made my first batch at 8%, 55/45 pg/vg, and planned to steep it a couple weeks to get a feel for whether it's too strong or weak. After five days it smelled good, so I had to drip a little. Although it was light in flavor it was already tasty. I'm using a glass dropper bottle and I think the regular activity opening and using the dropper has accelerated the steep a little as it's getting better day by day.

After two days of dripping, I finally filled a clearo. As I work through this batch, I think I need to make up at least 90ml in three 30ml bottles as suggested here. At least there's a slim chance one bottle will get to steep a month. DRY4 is good by itself, and RWHY4 is going to be one of my new batches too. Thanks to everybody for sharing their recipes!

Make some up without the tobacco. Use a substitute like chocolate or graham cracker. Just add it to the caramel and vanilla.

I'm so sad. I made some dry4 and it could easily be my all life vape. Problem, I have been told twice, in two different settings, that I smelled like cigarettes.
DRY4 is the only tobacco vape I've used and won't use anymore. I like not smelling of cigs. Oh well, no tobacco flavors or me.

It's truly unfortunate that you can't use the tobacco flavor. Here's a recipe you can try :

For 30 mls.

Vanilla Butternut .9 mls.
Caramel 2.1 mls.
Bavarian Cream 4 drps.
Apple Cider Vinegar 2 drps. per 5 mls.
2.7 mls. of a substitute flavor. Suggestions are :

Light Cig ( This may cut downn on the tobacco aroma without having to eliminate TB altogether.
Honey
Graham Cracker
Peanut Butter

Good luck and don't give up trying for that ADV.
