I came up with .08%
so for a 30ml batch I would need to measure .024ml. not very practical with a 1ml syringe.
Same with tobacco absolute 50%, nearly impossible to measure accurately, so using a 5% solution then using 1-3% of that solution for recipes is much easier.

Hey Enaud, thanks a lot! This concentration makes me a nice tobacco base. I have many other tobacco flavors that i use for base however this one is very interesting. Imagine how potent this stuff is! Next i will try something similar with Acetyl Pyrazine...there is no way I can stand it even at 1%.

I have a 30ml bottle of that M-type that I gave up on. I'm going to try your reduction and see what I get. I'll probably just do a 5% solution, then play with that. Thanks for the thread, you gave me some incentive to try that flavor again.

BTW, Enaud, I forgot to mention that the first 4% dilution needs to steep. I let mine to mature for 2 weeks.
I used the online calculator to see how feasible it was to make it directly at 0.08%, and found that it would be 1 drop (20 drops/ml) to 62.5ml of base! I don't know if this would work the same but I am afraid it won't. maybe the first dilution and its steep are important to obtain the final flavor. Or maybe that drop of pure M-type in 62.5 ml of base, with a very long steep?

Art, I was wrong on the flavor I put aside, it is the DK-Tab flavor I had issues with:facepalm: The M-Type I use 2dr/10ml like Woofer does.
I am however going to mix a 5% pg solution with the DK-Tab and do some experimenting with it in a few weeks after it steeps.

Taste is a funny thing I use Dk-Tab at 6% :toast:

Mixes of M Type that are this weak baffle me. I mix it at 8% flavoring and love it as a stand-alone flavor. I'm not sure I'd even be able to taste the flavoring at .08%.

Yes indeed Larry, I know some use M-Type at very high concentrations. This one I made supposedly at 0.08 is not meant to be the only flavor on it, I'll use it as a tobacco base. But I cannot stand it even at 1%, so individual taste is very...subjective.

Individual taste aside I think pre dilution is an excellent method for strong flavors or low percentages.
I just got some TFA Turkish, it smells very nice. :D

You are absolutely right, I will be diluting some other TFA's like Acetyl Pirazine and Hazelnut, and some INAWERA that I find excessively strong: Smoke&Prunes, Taboo and Tuscan Garden.

Now i am revisiting TFA Flue Cured, don't think it is strong enough to need pre-dilution however the M-Type flavor in it is still a bit overwhelming at 5%, lets see what happens after it steep for 2 weeks. Unfortunately for me, TFA uses M-type in most of their tobacco flavors. And I strongly believe that M-Type is a good product that has been used too liberally.

I also got .08 for a final percent. If I use 35 drops = 1ml, that gives 3 drops of original strength in 100 ml of base. Yeal, next to impossible for small quantities.

I really like TFA DK Tobacco for adding something to some of my tobacco mixes at 3 to 4 bottle drops per 10ml. In fact I'm vaping such a mix at the moment.

Edit: Art, what's the Taboo like?

JDI, the flavor description reads "Misterious taste. A bit of laurel leaves, a little of camel taste, a little of sweet licorice. 10 ml bottle with dropper." But if i had to write one i would say "Do you like blue cheese? If you do then TABOO is for you". Oh man, I think it is workable but would take a lot of work to do something with it. i would not buy it again, it came with my first Inawera order together with Smoke and Prunes and other catastrophic ones. Now I'll see if I can reduce it enough to make it vapeable.

I've used TFA DK as one of the ingredients to make a Boba's Clone, would like to mix it as standalone, however you said 3-4 bottle drops. My DK came in a vial so I am unsure about the proportion you used but I guess it is one of those bottles which drops are about 34 per ml?

Thanks. I think I'll pass. I do like blue cheese but not in my vape I don't think. :D

This was from Bull City and has the small plastic needle nose. I measured a similar design a while back at 34 and 36, so I've been sitting eJuice Me Up to 35 drops = 1ml for these.

Excellent. I added 4 drops and it is very tasty and in a nice way, now i was able to detect the 555 nutty element on it. 4 of these drops is an small %, maybe 2.5%? Going to make a larger batch and steep it, then i will mix with stuff...was thinking of chocolate and maple to start :)
Thanks for post it, JD1.

You're welcome and yeal eJuice Me Up gives 1% for 10ml as 4 drops. Evidently some rounding up there because math wise it would be 3.5 drops I think.
