Some are good plain some really suck. Example of suck would be watermellon and necterine. Then again everyone has different tastes.

Thanks for reply. Are the bad flavors you mentioned able to be mixed with other flavors to bring them to a point of being OK?
Did you mess with them or was it down the drain.

It's a real crap shoot with flavors.

Never a truer work spoken but as previously mentioned tasting each individually will give you an idea what will work and what wont when combined.

Nothing worst then mixing a blueberry cobbler that taste like grape candy or a cherry pie that taste like halls cough drops.

Disagree!!! Watermelon @ 15% is the bomb, I still vape that daily, ive gone up to 17% but that % depends how fresh the flavouring is. My opinion is with TPA flavz start at 10% making small 10ml batches without nic for trial and error, use this as your calculator and youll never go wrong eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator

Disagree about starting 10% TPA TFA… if you look at % charts for TFA flavors here, more of them are best at less than 10%.
Capella's would be more like 10% and up avg in my experience…

ie. oh well i've tried TFA Lychee and at more than 4% it tastes like green onions.

TFA Watermelon yes I've gone up on that … but imo it needs some Rasperrry :)

1st time DIY'er wants to know if there are any single flavors from TFA that are good.
I placed an order with WL & was winging it on picking flavors. I wound up getting about 25 assorted flavors & would like to start out with simple liquid so I don't waste what nic liquid I have.

Any suggestions appreciated.

JC :)
Your getting opinoins from inexperienced folks, not claiming a throne or anything but i noticed something, the best advice i have ever gotten was that EVERYBODY has different taste buds, you may hate something 1000 ppl love, you may love something 2000 ppl hate, its all up to your taste budz, recipes are just a guidline, youll most likely tweek them to your own taste. Start with single flavz to get an idea how they taste and the strength. Anyways id try watermellon @ 15%, Juicy Peach @ 17%, blueberry candy @ 18% (tastes like a blueberry fritter) I know its a TPA question but Harvest Berry from Caps @ 8%.. try those flavz, worst case you hate them but they make great mixes. cheers and good luck

Honeysuckle at 5% as a single is pretty darn great!

I just did a recipe that called for 7% Juicy Peach, 8% Honeysuckle, 1% cinamon, 2% EM dilution (10%) and its awesome!

funny how 5% was good alone but mixed it could go up without having that over done Honeysuckle flavor… JP and H mix well together.

Inexperienced Oh My. I think you may want to check your facts on that. Several here that have responded to this post have given much to this DYI sub forum and have been doing so consistantly for quite a while now.

Ask 10 people and you will get 10 different answers!

I have mixed all of my TFA flavors as stand alone first. All that I have tried are good. Granted, some are better with other flavors added but were still good alone too. You will only know if you like them by trying it yourself. Check the TFA thread for starting percentages and start low. If it is not enough flavor for you, you can always add a bit more. Good luck OP!

Since the nic base has a kind of vanilla taste to it, imo (at least the 20mg 70/30 that I like does), any flavor that goes good with vanilla, any berry, caramel, chocolate, etc. I have a bunch of 4ml glass vials that I test mix 1 ml at a time so as to not waste too much juice. Another tip is different size needles will deliver different size drops. Example, a 20ga needle ( yellow base ) will drop 60 drops per ml, an insulin 28ga needle delivers around 320 drops per ml. The 'juice me up' calculator gives you the option of adjusting your drop/ml and that's useful as hell when mixing minute quantities. A great calculator. Start small, easy to add, tough to take away. Steeping is very important especially with tobaccos. You are on the right track with starting easy. I have about 80ml's of cleck in a bottle before I figured that simple fact out. Funny thing, about 1 month later, the cleck bottle does not smell bad at all. Taste? Another story altogether, lol.
