I'm not sure what is going on lately, but it seems they are really checking everything . I have a package of food flavorings and bases for my DIY sent from Poland that customs is holding. They have been holding it since Aug 14 and I finally called DHL and asked what was going on. Next I get a call from customs asking me about what was in the package, so I told them and she says "oh its for ecigs" I said no it's food flavorings and bases there is no nicotine in the package at all. She then explained that she would email me forms to fill out stating what was in the package . That was four days ago and still no email. WTH

Maybe their bored right now and need something to do.

Can anybody please tell me what is the limit for paying the taxes?
I'm about to get me some flavours from TPA, but i don't know how much can i order.
Since i have moved recently from Croatia/ Europe here to Canada, i don't know the rules of the game.
Back there in Croatia limit was $40, but the usually were not looking if would not charge me for the taxes till about $45. For every order above $45 there was the chance they'll be charging me with taxes.

I have allready filled up my basket at TPA shop, it's about 100CAD, but i'm worried about is it too much?

Missing juices from orders makes no sense. I had a package from MBV held at customs for a month but the juice was there when I finally got it. And there was a declaration on it saying it was all legal and not prohibited by any law or legislation on the books. Wonder where they get off stealing like that. That's all it is, theft.

This is what the law says...

The item’s value in Canadian dollars

Under the provisions of the Postal Imports Remission Order, if someone mails you an item worth CAN$20 or less, you don’t have to pay duty or taxes on the item. If the item is worth more than CAN$20, you must pay the applicable duty, the GST or HST, and any PST on the item’s full value.

Now the reality is be ready to pay but celebrate if you are not charged.. :)

Products manufactered in the US have no duty.. but are subject to GST.. or HST.. depending on the province.

What is this yellow tape y'all talking about? Sorry first time ordering ejuice from states

That is when customs sends a package to health canada for inspection and verification.. IF the package contains no e-juice.. then it is closed up with yellow tape and sent on to its destination.. Thus the infamous yellow taped packages.. :)...
