Hi Emonty, i applied it to every part excluding the button itself.
The base cap, middle top and bottom sections and also the head or top.

I even got it on the threads and had no issues when I went to screw it altogether again.

And how, with a brush? And why not the button

cheers

The button didnt get done as its very dull and I couldnt be bothered to polish it for hours when i know the magnetic button will be out soon :)

Veeeryy nice... so does this keep the brass from tarnishing as well?

Thanks vapnaway, so far the brass is still looking great. On the everbrote website i noticed when trying to find a product that it could be used on jewellery including copper and brass.

After using it and working with it, i think it would adhere and protect almost any metal, it even adheres to itself when putting on multiple layers without need to sand and the finish is very smooth :)

I think Lisa should prepare them with this coating before sending them to the customer!

just kidding ;-)

Fianlly...........yes Lisa should certainly apply it before sending out emonty :) :)

Sorry guys, no chance. I already spend a fair bit of time on them when I get them. Can't spare any more time to do this. If there is a decision made that this kind of finish should be applied to the GG, it will have to be done at the manufacturing end - not at the seller end.

Anyway, it's part of the joy of looking after your GG, doing all these kinds of things, right? :D:D

I have decided to do much more in-house from now on.

I am going to grow the trees to produce the raw materials for the paper in my packaging materials.

Also, I am going to start painting the GG text on the atomisers by hand with a veeeeeeeery small paint brush and engraving the GG logo on the TS myself with a pin. :D

...man who got me away from NJOY, and into the 510 and T.W. a year and a half ago is FINALLY part of the GG Family  Well it's about time!!!!! ;)

Seriously though, thank you for steering SO many of us in the right direction!!! You are truly the best reviewer in my eyes (except when Isaac took his first hit off the GG Grant) ;) and brought me into the magical world of Imeo The Great Greek Geek :D (you know how much I love you Imeo)!

Now Scott, type your way over to Cloud 9 (Rob I'd send him your way, but he's a Brit. ya know :p) and buy yourself a GGTS and to  with all the other crap! ;)

Get hip to the 7.4 world of bliss with the i7...once Steve Jobs, I mean Imeothanasis gets us OUR GGTS AFS :D

Again, welcome to the GG Family!

With MUCH LOVE - Mr.e

Scott, that button is spectucular :shock::shock::shock:

Tell me the secret, mine never gets that shiny!!!

lol, to be honest i had accidentally scratched the button when fitting the new magnets! so using some very fine sandpaper i gave it a gentle sanding before then using a cape cod polishing cloth and a clean duster to polish and buff it up. im glad i scratched it now as i do feel the button looks even better all polished and shiny! :D

im sure you can get the same effect without the need to sand it 1st though and the actual polishing process only took about 5 minutes to get it that shiny!

cheers,

scott
