Yep. Another one... :(

http: // tobaccoanalysis . blogspot.pt/2014/01/american-lung-association-massively.html

Is Harold Wimmer such an expert on the matter, that he doesn't even know that BT only got recently in the e-cig industry? Usually, by buying already established businesses, instead of creating their own e-cig?

Why are those people, who have no idea about what they're talking about, given such credit??

because they are rich and or connected and they look good saying it on TV, that is all my friend... it matters not if its true or a bogus lie it only matters to them if it looks good on TV so the dumb people on the couch at home will stay happy and keep watching.

i dont realy watch any tv any more i just cant take whats on and even worse the comercials that are out now are targeting the american audiance as if we are retar.ded country bumpkins !!! thats right when i see a TV comercial its usualy so dumb and dumbed down that i feel stupider for watching it ! and the comercials go on for hours an hours like this ! in some cases there are more comercials than actuall tv show ! ITS LIKE THEY ARE TRYING TO MAKE YOU STUPID ! there is nothing on but reality shown and even the news only tells you what they think you want to hear or there own biased opinion on what happend !

i rather watch movies on demand that i select on my own, that and old cartoons on the boomerang network and cool stuff on the anime network sometimes discovery and nova buts thats all that ever crosses my screen thease days

I'd expect better from the CSM, but it seems they've joined the ranks of other organizations who fail at proper research and reporting. The following is but one of many opinion pieces from the CSM that vilifies e-cigarettes.

Yes... just like that other study, the 'nitrosamines' one... FDA recommended that the e-cig should be banned, because they found nitrosamines in it. Forgetting to state that the levels found were identical to those found in the Nicotrol inhaler, wich FDA itself deemed as safe for long-term use...!

On the other hand, they hide in their webpage the true risks of Chantix and varenicline... something not even Pfizer is allowed to do!

Is FDA alarmist and biased? Not really...
:glare:

I lost a friend to Chantix, he was on it for 3 weeks, quit smoking and a week later... his wife buried him.

I was searching google for some ecig related info and came across a report, I did read part of it, but didn't take note of who it was that wrote it or where it was etc., but basically what they were saying in the article was that they were using ecig forums to gather information from users about the side effects and other aspects of ecigs and vaping. They were going through reading posts and extracting information as being "reported" by actual ecig users. I didn't like this, so much can be taken out of context.

I feel that it has become a craze of sorts for people who have never smoked. There was a post in the newbie forum the other day from a college age gal who wanted info on getting a Blu or similar, she had never smoked, wanted 0 nic and was doing this because she wanted "something" to do in between her college classes. More then likely she wanted to "fit" in. I find this absurd. It is because of things like this that vaping has become a target and is getting some of the negative attention that it is. My personal opinion is that if you never smoked, don't start vaping, this is the population that is giving the whole movement a bad name.

Hmm... The FDA regulates cigarettes and permits the thousands of cancer causing agents to exist in them. So does FDA approval mean anything? How can the e-Cig even be considered for regulation for the "possibility" of a few carcinogens. It's warning label time boys and girls. After all that is all the FDA did for tobacco. Oh silly me and TAXED heavily.

No activity here in a month?

I know, eh? And I come across the stupidest stuff sometimes; but, really, it's all so repetitive there seems nothing to do or say but come up with new face-palms :p Maybe this should be stickied?

Meanwhile, here's a doozy for now: Courthouse News Service

Class action suit against NJoy for deceptive practices etc... really dumb.

I wonder which one is working for Glaxo? The litigant or the hire who represents him...

The term E-Cigarette itself is negative propaganda. The word cigarette even though electronic associates vaping with smoking to the simpletons. I feel it carries negative connotations. Electronic vaporizer of vaporizer would be better imo.

I have to agree - at least to the extent that it was doomed to attract the worst sort of attention, despite being a neat shortcut reference for the average tobacco smoker...

From my piece:
“Cigarette”? Did vapor-stick makers even think before sticking the 20th century’s most reviled thing’s most reviled name? Apparently not.

So let’s call e-cigs clopsters instead now. Or therasticks. Whatever – let’s take a vaper’s vote on it.

http://www.ecigbeat.com/e_cigs_in_the_news/electronic_cigarettes_are_the_new_methadone/

I favor "clopsters" btw - sorta akin to the French "clope" which is equivalent to "..."...

This isn't exactly 'propaganda', unless it's the collateral kind, where an unfortunate drinks the cool-aid inadvertently from the relentless mainstream media barrage.

I posted a comment/response, but basically this organic coffee writer is pleading people not to switchout their organic coffee (with its beneficial properties) for "smoking" coffee-flavored electronic cigarettes... sigh.

Here: Coffee Flavored Electronic Cigarettes

Feel free to contribute to their knowledge...

(don't forget to mention the benefitsj of nicotine! I did... )
