… I wholeheartedly believe you and bobalex are connected to "maxvaper" and are using the incorrect forum to peddle your wares in a very dishonest way.

Hey t.d,

You can believe anything you want but I’m not “peddling” anything. And there is nothing dishonest about anything I have said about the E-Max or any of the other vaping gear I’ve talked about on this forum or in any of the videos I’ve made about my own vaping experiences ...

https://www.youtube.com/user/SuperBeansBob/videos?sort=p&view=0&flow=grid

... because that’s all I’ve ever talked about … my own experience.

Also, some of the statements you both made have me questioning your registration dates and device usage.

What in the Wide Wide World of Sports have I ever said that makes you question my registration dates and device usage? And how would I go about faking my registration date in the first place? Read my signature, “Stopped smoking the day my e-cig starter kit arrived: March 6th 2010.” And my registration date is March 2010. Kinda looks like I registered around the time I switched over to vaping doesn’t it?

… while I'm convinced the MaxVaper (OAKLEY TECHNOLOGY) kits are not a sham, to call them the best starter kits and continuously advertise to a forum of new users is devious.

Um … if you look at my videos you’ll see: The Best Ecig in the World, The Best Ecig in the World Part II, The Best Ecig Starter Kit in the World, and The Best Pocket E-cig in the World. A discerning person such as yourself should eventually see a pattern here. I made these videos as a kind of snapshot of what I was vaping when I made them. And if you spend 5 minutes and 9 seconds actually watching The Best Ecig Starter Kit in the World you’ll understand what I was trying to say. My first kr808 starter kit cost $39.95. When I made the video the E-Max kit cost $39.95. All I was showing was the kit I successfully used to quit smoking was completely blown out of the water by the E-Max kit. Great tanks over cartos … better longer lasting batts over the 808 batts … there was no comparison. It was a great deal for the same money. No one I know that bought an E-Max kit based on my recommendation has complained to me about it. My neighbor went from smoking to vaping with his E-Max kit and got his wife to easily quit smoking too.

… I still think you're devious.

How? Steering people towards easy to use gear at a great price is devious?

Anyway here's my input on the kit. I'd rather start a friend off with a single 650 Oakley passthrough with a glass protank mini at 2.5 ohms.

Well t.d. I respect your opinion (too bad you don’t respect mine) but I disagree. I’ve found the regular ProTank and the mini version produce a vape that’s too coolish for me. And I’ve never liked a passthrough. I don’t like to vape while attached to the computer. Two batts in the pocket and two in the charger is how I vape. But if that’s the gear you recommend for noobs … fine. Go make a video about it.

I like the E-Max tanks a lot but I’m really liking the ViviNova BCC and Max JK65’s. I’ve been trying to wear out my two Max JK65’s since early February just to see how long they’ll last, but they’re both still performing great. The moment I have to change out a coil or the tank starts leaking I’ll post about these fantastic tanks. The ViviNova BCC is also a long lasting work-horse. I’ve tried the top coil mini and full size ViviNovas but the BCC version is a hands-down winner. Next on my wish list is the E-Max V2 clear tanks.

These are my opinions t.d. … based on my experience. I’m the first to admit I’m not a GrimmGreen/PBsardo type of reviewer. They’ve got access to a huge variety of vape gear. I only talk about the stuff I’ve used over the last 4 years, 25 days, and 11 hours since I’ve quit smoking. I’m lucky in that just about everything I’ve tried just keeps getting better and better. And I will continue to recommend to people that want to quit smoking to click on over to MaxVaper.com and pick up any of the kits offered. They work waaaaaaaaaaay better than the kit I started out with and they’re all a great value.

P.S. If you knew how long it took me to rewrite this post and take out all the bad words because I was so ...... at your unfounded assumptions ... well ... you'd be impressed at my seemingly restrained response.

i think hes saying you look like you have a stake in the site because the way you phrased things sounded like an advertisement. i wouldn't take it too personal imho, it kinda did look that way.

good for you for converting smokers over to vaping.im currently trying to tell smokers i know as well to try vaping.

He said I misused the forum to peddle my wares (I'm not in the e-cig biz), that I was devious and dishonest, and somehow faked my forum registration dates as well as lied about my device usage. The guy just flat out said I was a liar. It's hard not to take those accusations personally.

Early on this thread some other guy posted:

I feel like you have a stake in the product and have been remunerated for your efforts and time.

And I responded, "Well … you might feel I got paid for my effort and time but that doesn’t make it true. Just ask my wife. If I got paid for these things … I’d do a much better job. A couple of times in the last video you can hear my parrot in the background. A real professional would redo the voice over. My wife told me I should redo those segments. I had to remind her that I only work that hard for money."

The moment you put something "out there" you're going to hear from a few people who take exception regardless of what was said. I knew that. But it's still surprising to get unfounded negative feedback while trying to steer folks towards vape gear that works really well. The whole point is to help people painlessly quit smoking isn't it? And to be called a liar on top of everything ... well ... I just have to sit back, take a couple of drags (off my E-Max Twist with a Max JK65), and wonder how my new hobby ...... somebody off.

t.d;12715387]This whole thread was 26 pages of circle jerking about rebranded oakley technology kits. Horribly rebranded. blondeambition3 I ask you to disprove this statement. I wholeheartedly believe you and bobalex are connected to "maxvaper" and are using the incorrect forum to peddle your wares in a very dishonest way. Also, some of the statements you both made have me questioning your registration dates and device usage.

You're just a real 'charmer' aren't you t.d? :glare:

As for whether or not the MV kits are rebranded Oakley Technology Kits concerns me not and probably no one else...besides you. I genuinely wish MV had been in Business when I was a noob Vapor.... and as for my registration date and device usage... well, you can't FAKE your registration dates on ECF as the Forum here runs a pretty tight Ship.... and as for my device usage, I've used everything... and still do... including my Max Vapor gear. I AM connected to MaxVaper.... I'm a loyal and satisfied Customer, and will continue to be. I'm also a loyal and satisfied Customer to several other Vendors, such as CigEasy, Super-T Manufacturing, MyVaporStore, and the list goes on. Like I said, I own everything, and I SHARE what I believe in and what I feel will benefit New Vapors interested in getting quality starter systems that were'nt available to me.... and that I wish had been.

This thread has blown way out of proportion, and while I'm convinced the MaxVaper (OAKLEY TECHNOLOGY) kits are not a sham, to call them the best starter kits and continuously advertise to a forum of new users is devious. On second thought if these are oakley batteries you will have one of the very best ego style batteries possible. I still think you're devious.

... and I think you're rude. :danger:

I think it's ridiculous that I have to put up with "Bullies" because I want to share a Product I'm passionate about.

Anyway here's my input on the kit.

I'd rather start a friend off with a single 650 Oakley passthrough with a glass protank mini at 2.5 ohms. No disassembly for charging and you'd have a glass tank with extra heads for under $30 shipped. Cheaper if you know where to look. You wont have to worry about special chargers since it uses standard micro usb. You wont have a bulky kit to carry around and if you're like me you'd always have to access to micro usb charging. The 650 will last you about a day if you're a light smoker and use standard resistance atomizers. None of this 1.5ohm @ 4.2v for n00bs. The biggest benifit to ego style batteries are size. The passthrough adds ease of use to a nice sized device.

Guess what? The ProTank minis don't perform as well at the JK65's or the NEW E-Max V2 Tanks. I own ALL of the Protanks, including the minis... they're OK, but for price and overall performance, I'll take the JK65's and the E-Max V2s over ALL of them... any day. While I understand Vaping is subjective, I have a 'gut' feeling that anyone else who takes the challenge to try them and compare them will arrive at the same conclusion that I have. Hands down the MV JK65 and new V2 Tanks are superior to the ProTanks..... in flavor, (especially flavor!) vapor AND throat hit.

For $15.00 more, one of the MV Starter Kits supplies TWO 650 Batts ... 2 V2 1.5ml Tanks - Wall charger in addition to USB Adaptor, Needle nose bottle for help with dispensing liquid, in addition to a Carry Case and a choice of NicLiquid. I don't know about you, but when "I" started Vaping this is EXACTLY the sort of Starter Kit I was seeking and couldn't find.... all in the same place... and for under $45.00.

Newbies NEED everything when they start, so whether you agree or not... MV offers OUTSTANDING Starter Kits at reasonable prices, and they give Beginning Vapors a good start ... and MOST Noobs don't want to mess with PT's. I didn't! Used to own one... no more.

FTR My everyday vape is a kicked 18350 nemesis with kayfun running at 1.5ohms. Its runtime is about the same as a 1100mah ego in a nicer, shorter, package. When I think the mech mod is going to be too heavy for what I need I'll just go for my day 1 complete kanger evod. Its nice for weddings, social events, and unfamiliar territory. No wizards wands for this vaper!

Really? Are we supposed to be impressed?

I don't know what a "Wizard's Wand" is... but WHATEVER

.... what's good for you is not necessarily good for everyone else.

The same goes for me.... I just share what I think will benefit and help other people.

I hope you're proud of this post and yourself.... Bully. :glare:

for a few extra bucks, id just buy a spinner or twist. why mess with fixed voltage anything?

Because NEW Vapors don't have enough EXPERIENCE to understand Variable Voltage my friend. WHO wants to mess with things they don't understand? MOST New Vapors start with automatic cig-a-likes, then graduate to Manuals, then move on to Variable Voltage when they feel CONFIDENT enough to do so. Many will never progress further than Manuals. Not everyone wants to 'mess' with what they consider to be fussy or complicated vaping gear.

I was approached by a friend tonight that wants to quit smoking, so I told her I'd meet with her on Monday. I came home and ordered one of these kits for her as a gift. The only caveat is if it works for her, she pays it forward at some point, & if it doesn't work for her, she gives it back to me so I can pass it along to someone else. It looks to be a very good setup for someone who is just starting out. THANK YOU! for passing this along.

Her boyfriend is a good buddy of mine, who has done me many favors in the past, fixing my guitar amps & such, so I'm kinda paying back favors. They're a bit low on fundage these days, so it works out all around.

Hey All,

According my counter I’ve been vaping for 4 years and two months, saved $10, 655.34, and not smoked 30,444 cigarettes. To be completely honest during the first two years I tried to smoke a cigarette twice to compare the experience with vaping and couldn’t finish them. Couldn’t get past two drags. Once I got hooked on flavor I couldn’t go back to smoke. Last year on my wedding anniversary I tried a good Cuban cigar for the first time. At last I could see why people raved about Cuban cigars. But … even if I could afford to regularly buy good cigars I wouldn’t. I prefer the flavor I get from e-cigs.

When I had been vaping a couple of months cartomizers went through a design change and were better than ever. The first couple of tanks/clearomizers I tried were easier to use but didn’t perform as well as cartos. Some leaked. Some gurgled. And if they didn’t … the flavor wasn’t as good. Eventually tanks/clearos were on par with, and then surpassed cartos. And replaceable coils changed everything for the better again. After testing top and bottom coil tanks I found I preferred bottom coils.

Recently I took an automatic KR808 battery and carto out of my E-Cig Museum Drawer (everyone has one) and fired it up. I almost couldn’t believe it. This is how I quit smoking? It wasn’t just that the 808 was an almost-adequate substitute … they really did do the trick painlessly and effortlessly. But compare them with the gear I use now? No comparison. Someone just starting out vaping these days has an incredible advantage over the noob I was 4 years ago.

Battery life is waaaaaay longer, no counting drops into a carto, and no danger of overfilling the carto and having the excess drip into and killing an auto battery. Flavor, Throat Hit, and Vapor production with today’s gear makes my old 808 stuff look positively anemic in comparison.

I’ve been using E-Max batteries with 2 - 3 different tanks/clearos for about the last 9 months. I’ve posted and made a video saying (in my opinion) the E-Max kit was The Best E-cig Starter Kit in the World. I compared the E-Max kit with what I started out with over 4 years ago and wrote, “…I think I would have had way more fun with an Emax.” It’s true. If my first kit was as easy to use and performed like the E-Max, my first couple of months vaping would have been completely hassle & fiddle-free (and cheaper).

There’s no way I can go back in time and re-experience what it was like taking my first drag off of an e-cig. I do remember thinking …

I turned my sister onto vaping a few weeks after I started and we fiddled around figuring out how to fill cartos, and how many batteries, cartos, and bottles of juice we needed to carry around with us. We bought more batteries and charging carrying cases so we’d have a fail-safe vaping system whenever we were out and about. That was then.

Months ago my neighbor and his wife were trying to quit smoking and talked to me about the “pen-looking-thing” I was using. They were really heavy smokers. I steered them over to the E-Max and now they’re really heavy vapers. And they had zero questions about using it. Years ago if I turned someone onto vaping I’d have to steel myself for a prolonged period of tech-support. Not so with the E-Max. Charging the battery and filling the tank are all covered in the instruction sheet that comes with the kit and changing out the coil is a no-brainer. All my neighbor and his wife had to do to stop smoking was to start vaping the E-Max.

The support gear I needed in my 808 days cost way more than an E-Max kit. The Ease of Use and Performance is what? Ten times better? It’s hard to pick a number. That’s why I called it The Best E-cig Starter Kit in the World.

I’ve been vaping for 4 years and using eGo-style batteries (the Go-Go, Twists and standard eGo) for about 3. I’ve never been tempted to go the mod route for the simple reason the ones I’ve seen and held are too big and heavy. Personal preference. As far as tanks/clearos go I’m completely satisfied with the Flavor, Throat Hit, Vapor, and Draw I get using the JK65’s, V2’s, and miniViviNovas with the E-Max. I’ve retired my eGo batts to the E-Cig Museum Drawer because I like the feel/look of the firing button on the E-Max more. So yeah … I said the E-Max was The Best E-cig Starter Kit in the World. I’m going to amend that in a new video. This is the gear I use every day and I am sooooo past the starter kit stage.

Hey MaxVaper Nation-ites!

Muah had an epiphany today and decided to share :danger:

;)

I don't know about all of you, but I, for one, (until today!), was wondering HOW I might make good use of that 'empty Needle-nose Liquid Bottle' that comes with all MaxVaper Starter Kits... then, it HIT me! I have A LOT of MV Nic Juices lying around, and that empty Bottle would be IDEAL for a little DIY mixology!

How about a little Banana, Chocolate and Peanut Butter blend for instance? huh?

Got a few flavors you're less than in love with? (Like me!)
Mix 'em up with a 'tad' of your favorite Juice.. who knows? It may end up being your next all day Vape.

For those of you wanting to get into the DIY Mixing part of Vaping, (without all of the hassle of messing with PG to VG ratios and/or handling tasteless Nicotine Liquid, (Which is risky with higher level Nicotine Liquids :danger:).....

.... well NOW you can!

Just think! Simplified Do-it-yourself Mixing without having to purchase massive amounts of Propylene Glycol, Glycerine, high level Nicotine Liquids, and countless varieties of Flavorings. I know... and it's expensive when you initially go to purchase all of this stuff separately.

I see this as an immediate savings for myself, and a sure-fire remedy for Flavors I'm not in love with.... so for me this is an epiphany that's going to help me kill two birds with one stone.

How does a blend of Caramel Toffee and Tiramisu sound?
Cheese Cake with a splash of Lemonade?
Peach with a hint of Mint? (Oh so refreshing!) :smokie:
555 with anything?

Are ya's capturing the Vision?

IDK.... what are your taste buds craving and can't find anywhere else besides your own limitless imaginations?

So, those of you who already have MV Starter Kits, break open those empty Needle-nose Liquid Bottles and get to Mixin'!

I just want to thank bobalex and blondeambition... I've been flirting with the idea of using e-cigs for quite some time... Got a starter set of blu's, but it barely took a ..... out of my smoking habit. After trawling this site for SEVERAL hours, all the (mis)information and excessive overload of info, I found this gem of a thread! I immediately ordered a ViviNova kit, with a couple of liquids. While I waited, I went to our local vape shop and picked up an Oakley Gemini kit, and a Kanger Protank. I cut my smoking from a pack a day to about 5 analogs a day. However, once the E-max kit came in... I had 1 cig the first 2 days, and none since (been 5 days, no cravings)... Plus, Keith threw in an extra JK65 for free! The JK65 is my favorite clearomizer at this moment, with a slightly harder TH than the Vivi.

Anyways, rambling over, thank you, bobalex and blondeambition, for pointing an info-overloaded vape newb in a good direction! :vapor:

Very much so! Just placed a 2nd order, for the VV Twist kit, along with more JK65's and another Vivi, some coils and more fluid. Loving their service!

I'd safely bet a paycheck you're really going to love the VV E-max. Just when you think vaping can't get any better ... with a good VV battery you can fine-tune the voltage and bring out the best of the Big Three: Flavor, Throat Hit, and Vapor. And I'm a big JK65 fan. That's the draw I was looking for.

Have Fun and Vape On.
