Hi guys!

Yeh it's me with yet another question lol:p

Should be recieving my cignot joyetech eGo in the very near future (it's in State at the moment but what with USPS being slow pokes...). I've also gone ahead and ordered a small array of varying nicotine levels and flavours from freedomsmokeUSA.

So..What's the best thing to do when you first get your e-cig? If i've read and remembered correctly there's a protective and quite nasty tasting coating on the atomiser when you first get one? how is that best dealt with? and of course any other suggestions would be appreciated :p I havn't been this eager for a parcel to arrive since I was a kid :D

just a paper towel to the atomizer. rub all the primer off the outside and then off of the part that plugs into the battery. wipe it good, it should come right off.

then rub some paper towel into your battery portion where it screws in.

it's pretty easy to get that stuff off and if you don't get it all it only take a couple vapes before it's gone.

other than that, do about 3 drops directly into your atomizer cause its going to be dry. do this even if you plan on using carts.

The primer inside the atty really doesn't "need" to be worried about, but take it and put your mouth on the connector end and blow out with the mouth piece end covered with a paper towel.

if you are going to try using the carts it is best to put three drops of your juice directly on the bridge inside your atty (i.e. drip three drops into the atty)

you should be good to go

Just hope your juice gets there first otherwise you won't have anything to play with. Most batteries come with some charge so if you've got 2 then you can use one while the other charges, although the manufacturers say to charge each battery for something like 8 hours. Who can actually wait that long for them to charge, not I. It may or may not last very long though and waiting for batteries to charge is like watching paint dry.

And drink...drink a lot..especially during vaping. Your throat will get dry, at first it gets very dry but keep it wet and that should help minimise it. Its also normal if your throat feels a bit scratchy or sore the first couple of days - just keep drinking like a fish. Warm drinks if it gets a bit tender or even cough drops and lots of fluids.
Do what geo said about blowing it out too.
Good luck :)

Yeah that's a good idea... when you mentioned me I reviewed my previous post.. I meant atty not battery... about blowing :D

oh while I am at it ..about the batteries... Li-ion batteries (which ecigs use) really don't need an 8 hour charge per se... if the charger says it's charged...it's charged.. whether it took 30 mins 2 hours or 8 hours. If you are lucky it already has a semi-full charge once the package is open >>> I agree it's like watching paint dry :D

extra liquid is a must... whether using the cart or direct dripping.. because you can always refill carts .. so it doesn't make sense to keep on buying carts..

Lithium-ion batteries are not supposed to have a memory, that is ni-cad's which are not in common use anymore. I try to keep my batteries topped up. If I'm not going to be vaping for a while I'll just charge all my batteries regardless of how much charge they have in them.
It's nice to see another Ohioan here, I'm in the Akron area, home of VaporBomb.

ah right thanks guys!

I'm in Perrysburg myself, although the wife is set on moving back down to South to her home town of Chillicothe, must say having been down there, it really is a gorgeous city in comparison to Perrysburg's faux olde-worldy appearance. Not to mention the people in Perrysburg are :censored: having experienced them as a police dispatcher for a short while lol
