I scored a Lila Monster today. When they first came out I said I would never want that color. The more I've seen pictures the more it's grown on me so it's on the way

pretty sure they do! At least in my book! Purple stars at that......(they're way better than gold stars)

And just curious, what constitutes a BB flip? Just saw new Paua on an auction site and was wondering.
I'm not narcing on anyone but this is one of my concerns with BB products. I was lucky enough to get my first 2.1 from DD direct. I loved it's size and form factor but could not find a suitable delivery system (Divers were great for 1/2 a tank then developed the leaky/ gurgally thing that is commonly reported). I subsequently sold it to a member here in Like New condition for cost, plus I covered shipping. He was happy, I was happy.
1 year or so later comes the Billet Bridge. One of Atmistiques greatest "simple" innovations! So now I need another BB. I get lucky enough to score a Piebald RPG for less than MSR (karma here does come around people). A member here suggests that I try a Siluro atty. I get one and WOW! Uses 28-30 Kanthal & cotton only Problem is that for it to be convenient you need a Boro tank to be able to fluff the wicks after you install it Now I can't get a Boro tank. Really? It's not the device, it's a working part of it.
So I guess what I'm kinda venting about is the fact that I see "New" Billet Boxes for sale! I know that when I see "New", that the owner had NO intention of using them and only reselling.
And now even the pieces like Boro tanks are being flipped. That really sucks because it hinders the sale of manufacturers like Urq whose atty relies on this.
Other suggestion would be to start putting a serial number on the devices so owners can get parts to keep our goods current and functioning (as of today, NO tanks available).
So BB has teamed with Atmistique (Kudos!). Any chance of same with Urq & Roger @ Precision?
I guess the other big question here is are replacement Borsilicate glass panels available if you break one, or does it become another fairy hunt for a tank?

Brass is too soft for day to day. "Flipper" series , I believe means it's meant to be flipped lol. Either that or you gotta go down and make like a SEAL to get one LOL!

Yeah that pic I had already loaded on photobucket, I have one like that as well. I think he started out making the flipper, to try to stop the people that flip them, back when he started out. I think the flipper was priced at around $600.00.

We both do, Krisma. The stars are in our eyes, and they have all YOUR names on 'em. We're the lucky ones to be among such a great group of peeps. And I do mean that with all sincerity.

Yes urby, seems there are still flippers flipping. It's always a question of supply and demand, isn't it? The less something is available, the more people want it. (another chapter for my book, Life Lessons Via Vaping).
I have no idea of a biz relationship between BBV and Urg & Roger, but the existent one between BBV and Atmistique appears to be a good thing, at least for now.
I BELIEVE (as in not completely sure) that the glass face of the Boris is available for about 10$ from BBV. I would definitely check with them on that tho. I've not researched it as I've not needed to replace mine, but I've seen chatter about it.

Think people were still flipping them high. I believe I saw one go for like $1200 when I still had FB. Can't say enough about how well made these devices are! Now that there are good delivery systems, the BB will continue to be the best pocket friendly jewel in IMHO.

So I bit on an Piebald RPG (royal purple grey). It isn't that at all. It's the same color as my Toyo TRD dash which is "light charcoal". It's also the same blue/ grey/ slate as my ASUS MemoPad 7. Exact same colors on both! No purple at all from my perspective.
