Heh... mostly I agree with you, but there's been some good chatter in that "mixed manufacturer" thread that Mr Mann opened. I'm just sooooooo tired of the "My [this] is better than your [that]" threads, and everyone hollering about how PG will rot your brain and send you straight to hell. *sigh* I'm glad I had the opportunity to experience the burning that PG *can* cause, so I'm not doing the same thing to all those who think VG is manna from heaven and the only POSSIBLE thing to vape. *bigger sigh*
I'm also really tired of both political camps, the ones who say they vape everywhere on earth, blow it in everyone's face, and devil take the hindmost, and those perfectly willing to accept ANTZ brainwashing and only vape where smoking is allowed -- which is pretty much no place at all, so where does that leave them? At home, I bet. Very few seem inclined to use the slightest bit of discrimination and judgment on the matter. And that's probably because very few even have the brainpower to know what discrimination and judgment ARE, nevermind how to apply them. If brains were dynamite, most wouldn't be able to blow out the candles on a birthday cake.
I agree he should stick around, just because we really need all the smart people around here we can find!!!

I can't vape VG at all. It gives me terrific headaches instantly and builds up congestion in my throat. 100% PG for me.

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"
VG just makes me completely unable to breathe, if I use more than 20%-25%. Mostly I stick to something between 80%-85% PG, because I tried 90% PG for a while, and after a few straight days of 90% PG, my throat and sinuses were terribly burned. Now I don't know for sure if that was SOLELY because of the 90% PG, or if it was because I was coming down with a cold, or if the PG-burn is WHY I caught a cold (cracks in the mucous membranes to let in the virus). But I do know for sure that at 80%-85% PG, I don't have any trouble with my breathing, and I don't get the burned throat/sinuses... so I stick to that; it seems the best possible way for me to vape.

What.......shuttin down at 3:30pm?? You got a funny last call. Hope this aint the end of the party boat. If I don't win a billet box, I been lookin forward to the party boat as a great consolation. lol
I can't do real heavy vg either Andria, can't breathe. Dunno how folks vape it 100%, or nearly. My SIL does cuz she can't handle the TH. I need the TH. That was why I smoked, and that's why vaping worked where all else failed, cuz of the TH. Nic of course too, but gotta have that TH.

The cigarettes I smoked were ultra-lights, but I tried about every brand of those I could find, ionly to find out that the ultra-lights of my regular brand -- Virginia Slims -- gave the best throat hit -- not a lot of flavor, but solid TH -- but when I discovered vaping, the TH was so great compared to the cigarettes, AND didn't make me cough! What bliss!I post a lot mainly because I'm a housewife, not a lot else to do, and a lot of opinions, AND questions! I'm really and truly a hermit, but it was so great finding a group who shared my interest in and delight with e-cigs, I've basically taken up full-time residence around here.
Also it's nice to find a group *on the internet* who actually remember life before PCs. I may be a real PC geek, but I'm kind of an old one --a PC was my escape from the humdrum housewife life, when my son was born in '88 -- my PC saved me from soap operas! Andria
