Well good news, I did get an email back from Andrew W. of AW batteries and looks like things will be fixed and back to normal for the AW RCR123 protected we use.

"A previous batch of AW RCR123 was found to have a production tolerance of 0.8mm longer than normal. The recent batch has been corrected and they should be available at dealers shortly.
Best Regards,
Andrew W"

SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Bush!

Got my sophia V2 today, if anyone gets one make sure you clean it, mine still had cutting fluid on it. My first coil shorted though, it was a fairly nice looking coil too. I going to have to play with it more tomorrow, it is a very different coil deck, than anything I have built on before. Still not sure how it is going to work but I was able to open and close the juice control, with the drip tip and using the adapter nut provided by By Leo, the other pieces in the kit were kind of useless though. I will update tomorrow, when I get it working, it might be a while before I know if I will like it though. I really want a good rebuildable for my BB, not ready to try the other ones yet though. :)

WOW ! ! ! Talk about being caught in a whirlwind . . . AND - Now having it confirmed that the AW Protected Batteries are out of spec by AW themselves (BTW: THANKS @bushmasterar15) I don't know what I can or will do. Matter of fact, with all the information that was being posted in the last few days, I finally contacted Randy of RTDVapor just this evening about possibly exchanging the batteries I purchased for the red AW's. OH Well, I am going to wait to see what he has to say . . .

BTW: I also mention that it was a hot topic here about the notice he put on his website. . . ;)

I did direct email Andrew but didn't ask about ordering since seeing him say there wasn't anymore shipping to the USA because of mailing issues. I know if there was a way it would be nice to get a group order together for some but RTD should be receiving a new order that are corrected just not sure when yet.

Please keep us in the loop - The Sophia V2 is on my list when the Calix V2 P3 bases are available. I have the Diver V2 with a build ready and will be giving it a try.

Just As An FYI:

I just got a reply from Randy/RDTVapor via email. The gest of the message:

"I just received a large shipment of AW batteries this past Friday and the P123 where in this shipment. They did get smaller by 1mm coming in at 34.7mm. The shipment before this one was at 34.8mm. This is of course an average."

Also, I let Randy know what @bushmasterar15 found out from AW and he mentioned in his email that he, "talked to the owner of AW(Andrew W.) about this issue a couple months ago (due to BB owners feedback) and basically got the same info. I do know he is trying to have the factory get the size down."
"
Besides all of this, Randy goes on to mention that he has been trying to purchase a "Billet Box" so he could see for himself why there is a problem with the batteries, however has not been able to get one whenever he's tried. ( OH MY . . .Must have been caught up in the frenzy . . . But I bet he hasn't looked recently . . . :D )

So all in all - IMO - the Man is trying, especially to provide the best customer service he can to the "Billet Boxers" . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

I never did get me a Diver, maybe I should just order one, I must say that for me this is not very easy to build a coil on. When I got home I tried to tweak the coil I made last night to see if I could get it working, waste of time. I built a new one, and I am trying it now, so far so good. It is going to be a learning curve for me to be able to build a good coil on this, but if the juice control doesn't get stuck, and it doesn't leak inside my BB, I think it will be fine. the flavor and vapor are really good so far. :)

I'm a bit worried about the diver - Haven't had good luck with these ceramic cups (always had gurgling issues with the Rose), but am determined to try with the Diver 2 - at least I don't have to use NR-R wire. Will provide an update once I get it setup in the Billet Box.
