Any Chance that Report is a Lie

Things to consider,
China has the world's
largest population of cigarette smokers, with an estimated
300 million daily smokers.
Roughly
2.4 trillion cigarettes are consumed annually, 4.8 per person, per day - and the country accounts for
one-third of global consumption.
China is the
world’s Largest producer of tobacco.
The Chinese government has a literal
monopoly on its tobacco, and earns
$95 billion annually from its tobacco taxes.
To put this in perspective, domestic tobacco sales are just over $80 billion.
Which means the Chinese government collects more in taxes from smoking, than the
total combined sales of U.S.
of tobacco products.
So is it Lies if you just don't tell them in the First Place?
Only
25 percent of Chinese adults have a comprehensive
understanding of the health risks of smoking,
and
less than a third are aware of the dangers of second-hand smoking, according to World Health Organization.
Population Control
The One Child Policy, a part of the family planning policy, was a population control policy of China which was introduced between 1978 and 1980.
January 2016 they changed the existing law and it's now a Two-Child Policy.
The annual deaths in China caused by tobacco is approximately about 1 million, and predicted to rise from 2 million in 2030 and
3 million in 2050.
Of those already killed by tobacco in China:
45% die from chronic lung disease
15% from lung cancer
5-8% from each of oesophagus cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, stroke, heart disease, and tuberculosis.
Of over 300 million males in China are now aged 0-29, at least 100 million will eventually be killed by tobacco. Half the deaths will be at ages 35 to 69.
Money and Population Control
Lets just Say, I don't think the Chinese Government will be letting
A Billion Lives play in China anytime soon.
