I actually find myself feeling sorry for Peyton Manning. He isn't what he used to be. He's getting old in the NFL standards and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Broncos let him go this year.

Probably why he's doing those inane papa john's commercials -- commercials pay gooooooooooood. :D

I think he's going to retire. Between his age, his injuries, the likely changes to the Broncos coaching staff, and the number of players who are eligible for free agency, he'd be nutty not to retire. He's a great QB with a remarkable record; his time is now past.

Andrew Luck played a great game. I hope he gets the respect he deserves! Still not gonna cheer on Seattle, though ;)

No problem at all. You know some of what I've been through in my life lately so I do not let things bother me. I know you're a good hearted person and you meant well. My life is dangling on a string and I just thank God every day that I'm alive.

That's so kind of you to say! I'm afraid a New England upbringing often results in a propensity toward blunt-ness, a condition from which, clearly, I suffer! Sometimes it even borders on "foot in beak" disease ...

DONNYX. I think I went overboard with my idiotic remarks about you and I apologize. Sometimed I get pretty grouchy as anyone can attest to. Sorry Buddy,

And that's how I like things. I like honest up front answers without all the frill. That's why I think you're a pretty nice chick.

for being such a nice guy. I'm really sorry you have to go through that Donny. I've lost my dad, sister, and other family members to that and it ducks. I pray you get better.

Ok back for a late lunch. What did I miss.

Those shrimp (or prawns as we call them) were beautifully cooked. Nicely charred around the edges. The sun is over the yardarm so I raise my champers in toast to old friends and new.

Do I have to pick someone to barrack for or is it all out sink em all.........HA HA

Can we send out Chaff to confuse the torpedoes

This last year has been the hardest fight if my life. And a fight it is. In May my oncologist had the "talk" with me and it went something like this:

There's no cure for multiple myeloma. Most people live for years after getting the diagnosis, but need ongoing treatment to slow the disease's progress. You may have a remission, but the disease often comes back.

Treatments to fight it may stop working. If that happens, you may want to focus on making sure you're as comfortable as possible, known as palliative care. You may not be able to control your cancer, but you can control choices about how you'll live your life.

So you will realize why I cherish everyday. I have a 7 year old daughter that I most likely will never see grow up and get married and all the daddy stuff you go though. I have accepted this and don't let it get me down. I live for today.
