Back in 2010 (I think, trying to remember.. Maybe 2011?) the FDA seized everything vape related coming into the US from China and that got shoved up their rear by the courts so there is some hope..

Its not real hard, getting recipes you like is the barrier. To start you can purchase premixed base that you just add flavoring too before you start messing around with 100mg nicotine. Check out www.ecigexpress.com prices are good and they have base in the popular strengths. Plenty of recipes to be found and lots of peeps to help.

Now, that the deeming regulations are here, I am definitely going to start making my own juice. I'm not really worried about mods, because I've kept a few trusty mech mods on hand.

It will just be really sad that a lot of great juice and mod companies will cease to exist because of what happened today.....

Yeah I think mech mods are about to make a short lived comeback.. Nothing to go wrong on them really...

The site @rhelton posted has good prices. $10 for 240ml or $30 for a liter of ready to roll juce where all you need to do is add flavor is a pretty good deal.

I think back in 2010 there was some discussion about buying in bulk and freezing but I can't really remember all the hoopla and if it was even a good idea to do so..

All juice makers will be belly up (who has one million dollars per flavor and per nic level?) and all mod makers will be gone! The FDA even says they do not expect any custom mod makers to survive as they'd need to get every single part of the mod tested and certified...

If and when the regulations stick, we all will still have many options......for ejuice that is.

Worse comes to worse, we can even buy nic/pg/vg from overseas.......I'm just worried about customs seizures and what not..

Guess, I'm gonna try and score some of my most wanted mods in the meantime and start messing with DIY.

I do my DIY stoopit simple. Use a jar, a measuring cup, a 60 ml syringe and 1 ml syringes. That's it for equipment. Start stocking up on nic in 100 mg in all PG regardless of ratio you vape at. Per 2 chemists, the nic mixes better with PG so stays suspended better, which means it lasts longer. I vape at 24mg so I break one liter at a time down into 120 ml bottles, put em back in the freezer. I pull out one at a time, dump it in a jar....add pg/vg this gives me 1/2 liter of 24mg unflavored juice. When I flavor, I pull up how much I need add flavorings, DONE! lol

Jup and the super sad part is all the folks still smoking that haven't ventured into vaping yet!

If y'all haven't yet........ contact congressmen and urge them to support HR 2058!!! It resets the deeming so things from 2007 to present are grandfathered in. I'm still trying to get stocked up on nic, but I'm good with everything else. $400.00 stands between me and having everything I need to vape the rest of my life lol

I personally have not done it, but I've seen it done. So I'd say yes. The first YouTube video I watched on how to build it shows it being put into a Rev3 delrin tank.

This deeming crept up on me. I knew things were headed this direction though. It will be sad/interesting to see the state of the industry once the dust settles in 2 plus years. And I wonder how much we will each feel it. It's so sad as it's all about big tobacco lobbyists crying that they're not making the money the want to and trying to deflect their reasoning to make it look like they're looking out for the health and safety of the youth.


As far as mods, could they be marketed as paper weights that hold batteries? I have 4 reos I'll be buying extra extra repair kits for as well as rbas. Can mod repairs still be sold?

I've been making diy juice since my only go to vendor Ms. T's bakery shut things down a couple of years back and it's intimidating at first, but once you dive in and get comfortable it's not too bad.

Either way, like everyone else I am going to be stock piling and spending as much time enjoying and buying vape gear the next two years as much as my wallet will allow.
I guess modded vaping will go underground the way of the speak easy?

Larger distributors like FT most of their items do not get searched in customs. They get a automatic pass under some regulation I have forgotten what it was. Although occasionally something will get searched and returned its not likely and wont be in the future. Finding where to order nic overseas if needed could be a thing but I have never looked for it.

Ive been researching those in the last couple days and from what I read it can be used in any BB tank.

I went and picked up some Nauti coils. I have some BVC and some BDC which ones should I try first, is there a preference? They are 2.17 at my corner shop so I scooped up a handful of each.
