@Krisma

So I rebuilt a Aspire head for my Bridge tonight. I mistakenly removed the inner cotton liner from the barrel. I went ahead and used some 500 mesh to repair it following how you do yours. It seems to be working pretty good so far. I used 30g, 1.5mm ID, 7 wraps, the coil is wicked with JC and I assume it has come out around 1.5 ohm but do not have anyway to check it. I run the stock heads at the "V" on the dial, but this I have to keep it down around the "50" mark on the lower end. I may try and increase the ID to 2mm and add a wrap or two aiming for 1.8 or 2.0 ohms.

Any suggestions at all?

Thank you

I use an old protank base to check my resistance before I load in the BB. I am still using NR-R-NR coils so it's easy to get the 2.ohms and the wire is 32g. If you find the wicking is slow increase the mesh size to 300 or even 250.

Yah I think the resistance is a little low I am a bit uncomfortable with it. I wish I had something to check it with but I do not. All I have is 510 stuff and my multimeter will not go that low.

edit: I found a old premade NR-R-NR coil I can use, from the olden days so its in the range I need :)

Quick question on the rev 3a:

I have a JMK Pico tip and once screwed in, the BB will often not fire. I have to reseat the Boro, Billet Bridge and JMK multiple times to get it to fire. I know you are not supposed to crank down the drip tip, but that is the only thing that will make a connection and it is intermittent at best.

Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

I hate to say it but I had issues with two JMK tips. I'm guessing here, but they appeared to be JUST long enough to work sometimes.

Consistency being absolutely essential to me, I ended up selling them. I do hope you end up having better luck.

@Bamrz, I believe he still uses SS for all his tips.

Some are stainless and the other is brass. To the comment above, I do wonder if it is the JMK?

I have messed around with driptips and seen some of this happen when the oring breaks the contact.

To humour me.......try it without the o-ring. If it works then use a thinner o-ring to help with airflow.

Which o-ring are you referring to? The little red one at the base, or something else? If it is the red one, what is the best way to remove it? Thank you!

Btw...I just put in the brass ring and a regular drip tip...no problem firing.

Yes the little red one. I use a blunted dental pick (sharp damages them) run it down the side and then under. Try not the nick it.

I STILL no HAZ :( so I made my own! DNA 40; v4 Boro; 1600mah lipos; pass-thru charging. It's no BB though no matter what I tell myself.

That's not why I was laughing. I knew there would be trouble when I saw the first post, then it got deleted. When I saw the re-post, it was just a gut reaction.

And yes - I like it too.
I saw the first two deleted post but was unsure what it was lol
