On the subject of glass let me get back to you on that.

The purple one is a little more dark than my Lila Monster. That being said it is absolutely stunning and when I have enough money saved up I'm going to be with everyone in the f5 wars trying to get one

No - "Your" correct - they did right after the person who purchased the BB asked to see it too and they jump on it - before I even had a chance . . . :grr:

However, it is still very disappointing, especially when the seller didn't responded to "My" PM mentioning "My" interest to purchase the BB - I thought they left ECF given the hour . . . Matter of fact, the seller still hasn't responded to the PM that was sent (nor the follow-up I sent this morning) and I suspect they won't since the BB has already been sold . . . :(

Oh well such is life, and if I was meant to have that BB it would still be there . . . ;)

There will be another one soon :)

Do you know what a .5ohm build would come out to wrap wise with 28G wire? The 1.5ohm Kanger coil I'm using with my Roo right now is way to cool and really lacks flavor for me. I'm running it at 12.5 watts. I found the .5 Kanger, which wound up reading as a .7 has tasted the best so far. Thanks for any info you can share.
I do not think you can as it would only have 2.5-3.0 wraps and the vape would be just terrible. And the Uno will not take 26g wire as it will damage it possibly. What you could do is rebuild a Kanger head but use 26g or 24g. Have you ever messed with those at all? They are a little tricky to wick, it seems if you get a tiny bit too much cotton in it and it will dry hit on you. It is doable with some practice I do allot of them for my neighbor.

You have a .50 Kanger whats wrong with using that one?

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to stop using the Kangers as they can get expensive over time. I'll try a .8ohm build and see how that works in the UNO once it gets here. I'd be happy to do a 1.5 or 1.2 build but the juices I've been using, tend to want more heat to get the best flavor. Would you happen to have any juice recommendations for the lower 1.5 - 1.2 ohm builds?

I vape allot of custard type vapes. Some plain, some with fruit and I have a really sweet berry recipe that I make also. And one lightly mentholated tobacco that I have been vaping for quite a few years. I do not vary much beyond that. Pretty much everything I vape does well above 1ohm and below for that matter. I am vaping my plain custard in my lemo right now with a .80ohm build on some nichrome. Do you DYI or purchase your liquid?

Ill add that I vape 12mg and that makes a difference for a device like the BB IMO.

One thing to remember the chamber in the Uno is super tiny. About as small as you can get in a atomizer. It is much like my Sophia and should vape in much the same way. A 1.0 to 1.5 ohm build in the Uno will give you a nice warm flavorful vape. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. With the power you have available with the Dna40 I would just make a 2.5mm or 3.0mm ID 28g 8 wrap contact coil and check it out. It will be much different than the stock heads your using now.

Use the adjust-ability of the device to dial in the vape your after and all will be well.

In the Uno I'd avoid doing a 3mm ID to make your coil. Bret himself said that 2.5 is the best for the Uno. On the topic of 26g I've never damaged my Uno using 26g wire for builds. You may mess up the insulator, but it's super easy to get that replaced since all you have to do is get an Ego CLR coil and take it from that

I don't make my own juice, that's not an option for me right now. These days I've been vaping Banana Cream Pudding and Butterscotch Pudding from Blend's by Bryce. What wattage and builds do you tend to run your custards at? I also recently dropped down to 3mg nic. I have been using sub ohm tanks and found that I just burn through juice way to fast despite the nice flavor. I'm into flavor much more than clouds so any tips on how to optimize the flavor in the R4 billet box are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For the people who were asking about replacement glass for their rev 3 Boro tanks send an email to Anne at billetboxvapor@gmail.com and we should be able to get you taken care of.

On the topic of that Atom Vapes Ni200 coil I was testing out yesterday, I already had to take it out. I think I might be sensitive to nickel wire. I would get this extremely uncomfortable feeling in my chest when I would take a drag.

That being said my co worker was using the same exact coil and wasn't experiencing these issues. The flavor was great on this coil and I didn't get any dry hits.

Even though I had issues with it, it's still a coil I'd recommend. I would def just try 1 at first to make sure you don't experience what I did. If you don't then go hog wild.

Hopefully the next coil I'll do a write up is either the Triton Mini Clapton or the gClapton Atom Vapes coil.

A 5 wrap would get you right around .80 with 5mm legs. Going down to .50 I think you should use 26g wire as long as the Uno will handle wire that thick. 28g will be difficult to get a .50ohm coil as it would have to be very small. This would not be good for flavor or vapor production.

edit:

If you dont mind taking some pics I am interested in the Uno and I would like to see yours set up :)

Here is the UNO got it today. You can see my build in one of the boxes. I wound up doing 5/6 wraps and it came out to .9 running it at 20 watts. Seems pretty nice so far.

That looks very nice!

I did a 26g build in my Sophia just to see how that would go in a small carto. It is 8 wrap 2.5mm came out too .98ohm. I think it maybe just a little to wide and the wick is being choked off but ill try it for a bit and see and let you know. The Sophia handled the 26g just fine but it is a little different than the Uno but others say you can in that one also.

It really depends on the atomizer for the wattage or voltage I run. But if I was to give a average its from 15 to 25 watts or 3.5 to 4.5 volts depending upon the atomizer or desired vape I am after. I am not really a high powered vaper unless you count rocking a 2.0ohm build at 4.5 volts craziness
