Congrats!!! and Welcome!!!Guess who just joined the BB family?
My 2014 Rat Black Rev-3.a will be coming home to roost next week.
Grab a Battler or three. Worth every penny. Thanks for the love guys and gals!!!
I am really anxious to get this baby home!
I'm on BB's website now, and I've got a few things in my cart.
1. Both Care Kits
2. Delrin tank
3. Bridge for Nautilus coils
The combo I bought in the Classies is coming with:
One black Boro tank
Many Platinum cartos
A box of BVCs and a Bridge for the BVCs
A Killer with wick and wire
Some black batteries (I'm guessing AWs).
Is there anything else I should know about?
I'd love to get a few more Boro tanks, and I've already contacted BB regarding more.
Thanks again in advance!
I've got a Slap Yo Mama tool, for installing cartos into tanks...same thing?Grab a Battler or three. Worth every penny.
Very sad. But remember, legends never die.Sad news........ Muhammad Ali just died at 74. RIP to a man who did so much good

Unfortunately, no (I've got a few of those myself), if you'd like the option to switch-out (cartos, Bridge, etc.) without emptying your tank. The Battler seals it up nicely for you, and is particularly effective with the Rev 3 design (much more so than with the 4). Once you get down to about half-full, you can simply place it on one side (you'll know which side), and swap everything out without losing a drop of juice.
It's the quite marvelous little bugger - absolutely brilliant in design and function. In fact, I grabbed two more last weekend - just so I had them as backups (lost, etc.). I think they're about $6 a pop, and you'll be very happy you did it, once you use it.
So same function as a SYM tool, but long enough to plug both top AND bottom holes?
Love it.
Mind you, I've never seen the guts of a BBox in person. The only pics I've ever seen have had the tank installed.
Sooooo, being the grease monkey, hot rod builder that I am, I've just stared at pictures long and hard enough to put most of the puzzle together in my mind.
Correct me if I'm wrong buuuut:
The carto/bridge goes through the tank like this: (red line/arrows represent the carto/bridge)

And then, on the top of the tank, there's a brass nut that holds the tank/carto/bridge assembly in place in the BBox body, and also serves as a 510 drip tip adapter...?
The dark blue is the drip tip, the yellow is the brass nut, and the orange is the gasket under the glass. The light blue represents the glass.
Lastly, the green lines represent the body of the BBox itself, just cut-away so you can see the tank inside from this angle.

SORRY FOR THE TERRIBLE DRAWINGS!
But is I right?
Hahaha the mysteries will be revealed to me soon enough, but I can't help myself from trying to figure it all out before she's here!
