My husband has one on his desk, though no internet -- easily remedied with a long enough ethernet cable (I just don't trust wi-fi). And I have my old one in my closet, which could be put back into use, if necessary. I'll be getting a new one when we get our tax refund, one of those laptops that can turn into a tablet. He'll be getting this one, when I get that. His has some kind of weird problem on the secondary drive, which I can't figure out; mostly it works ok, but sometimes when it tries to write to that one spot, it pops the BSOD and he freaks out.

It might not be the disk itself though, but possibly an IRQ conflict; back in the old days of 640k and everything "system" loading into the space between 640 and 1024, I had all the tools to suss it out and fix it, but things have changed a lot; I no longer have tools like that which can do that kind of deep level meddling, and without them, I told him I thought the only way to remedy it is to take all the drives out and reassemble the machine from there up, including a complete re-partition and reformatting of the drive. Not really worth it, so I told him to shut up and deal with it, until he can inherit this one.
