KreeessMaMa, do you own/use the Joye CLR atties? They caught my eye.

(now I have to wear a patch....)

:p If you mean the coil heads.........Why yes I do. I got them for the frank n tank. The base of the ego one mega and the top of the eleaf gs tank. Good little rebuildable head easy to use.

And they only fit the Ego One Mega tank, or frankentank, eh? No workie in zee B Box, I'm guessing.

I haven't tried any combinations of bridges with them. Give me a few mins and I will have a look at whether I have a combo to fudge it. :p

I will put some pics up.

The normal bridge will sit on the top of the CLR coils (green BB pics) however the tube sits high and the coil pin is still a bit short.

Basically the CLR coils are three bits (base, ring, top) if you remove the top cap of the CLR coil, the tube portion of a diver screws in and you then use the ring to adjust height. That's the good news you can make it sit properly in a Rev 3 bore tank. Now the bad news. The coil will be sitting at the inside bottom of the boro tank. The only thing holding it there will be the orings holding the diver tube in place. If it unscrews then you will have a billet box full of eliquid. As the coil threading will be unsecure. Second bad thing is that the pin is slightly short, you could swap pins but you will need the boro tank to sit high.

Nothing I own (little adapter) will screw onto the bottom threads (joyetech size) so I could not anchor it in the bottom orings in the boro tank.

Wow. Got my REV4b and Nautilus Billet Bridge in the mail about an hour ago. I was on the fence and lurking in this thread for quite some time. This set up is spectacular. I was a little surprised at how small and heavy it is. Not that it's heavy...it just has that heft and quality hand feel to it. The fire button is super clunky too which I like. Super happy that I get off the fence and got down with this.

I have been vaping for close to a year and a half now and have been thru a ton of equipment. Being an engineer with full blown OCD does not help always! I was hesitant to get the Nautilus Bridge due to the pending doom and gloom. The Nautilus coils and tanks have always been great for me. While some may see them as beginners equipment I quite enjoy them. At this point in my life/vape journey I am just going with what works! I shall now stock up on coils but will also check out the Uno as I like rebuilding and want to have options.

If any one is looking for me Kermit (yeah I named it) and I will be working in my home office happily vaporizing Nicoticket's 12mg Butterscotch Pudding @ 14 watts and writing some code.

GREAT info, Kris. And thank you so much for doing the experimentation. Seems it's a no-go for me, from what you said. I was looking for easy, plug n play.

Oh welp! Back to the olllllllllllll drawing board.

I have the biggest smile on my face. This December will be four years since I first discovered the joys of the B Box, and I just got to relive all that via your post!

Could not be happier for you, Mike!*

Thank @Katdarling. I don't think it's possible for me to be happier with this device. Getting the bridge set up and into the tank was a bit of an awkward fumble for me but I just credit that to this being different to me plus I have rather large paws.

Today is a vape mail day here. DHL dropped off my Racing Bridge, and I leapt into action. Well, sort of. I pulled the rba out of my kanger subtank, figured out the necessities and installed, only to find that the old coil was shot.
Oh well, a quick 10 wrap 28ga on 2.4mm later and some more fiddling, and it's up and running!
I did notice the kanger head is the "plus" version.. it seems to work though...
Does anyone have experience with this setup, and could offer advice? Do I need the regular rba head? preferred builds to go in it?
apologies for the bubbles in the tank, I was in a hurry

While I had one the divers out I thought back to why I never stuck with it in the billet box. It was a couple of things, silica wicks, leaking and the ceramics. A while back I found the instructions on fast tech on how to build a vertical coil in a diver using a protank insulator instead of ceramic. (I prefer horizintal coils but method is the same) Now that I am wicking with rayon instead of silica I setup the Diver in the boro tank again. One of the pluses the diver has over the Sophia in this case is there is no need to mess with the eliquid flow control. Which means you can use a normal brass screw.

I am just testing on a spinner to see how much leaking I get and how much wick to use but it seems to work well and may be an option for you if you don't want to rebuild nautilus coils.

I read on Billet Box site, he specifically recommended the plus as it's better at wicking than the original.

I'm interested to hear people's experience with this set up as I'm planning on going this route too.

The Plus is the one recommended from Atmistique, and the one that I bought from them. Right now this is my favorite Rebuildable for the BB, it is easy to set up and to rewick. JUST DON'T FORGET TO KEEP THE SCREW ON THE SIDE, ON THE LEFT INSIDE THE TANK!
    It will break your glass.:glare:

    Here are my first impressions.
    • Building on the rba head is exactly as you'd expect.. it's a bit fiddly, but nothing too difficult.
    • Some assembly required.. of course. I had to figure out for myself to replace the center pin of the rba. I initially assumed that the center pin supplied with the bridge was merely a spare.
    • Assembling the rba into the tank was a bit of a production.. glass off, set the rba down into bottom hole, rotate so chimney screw does not press against the inner walls, then slide upper tube down thru top hole to mate with the rba, glass back on.
    • wicking/juice flow is good. Flavor is good, airflow good. I have not used the airflow reducer yet.
    • Unless you leave off the bottom collar, and set the rba back in the subtank deck, there's no way to check resistance, but that's not a huge deal, as Steam Engine should get you in the ballpark.
      (I'm using it in a Rev3a)
    So far, so good.

    Thanks mate, that sounds promising!

Always found the subtank RBA an easy build and that it produces a very good vape, really glad this is now an option!

In the end, all I want is plug 'n play, really. If the BVCs were a breeze to rebuild, I'd be on them, as I've got so many in stash. Eventually, tho, who knows. We might just have to look for another (EASY-PEASY) option for a RBA for the B Box.

    Thank you again, Krismama.

To be honest I prefer to rebuild the BVC coils. Once you have done some they become a breeze. I got into the habit of setting up the new coil in a cerotank to make sure it was wicking and working properly and then put them in the billet box. I also become a bit frivolous with them, if they don't work immediately in the cero tank I grab another one.
