They let go the one doctor that was actually helping me and now everything is so messed up I haven't a clue what to do. I just hope and pray things will get better.

They let him go because he was helping you...and that's not what they pay doctors to do!

Damn it I hate our medical institution!

Sorry Bushmaster...

How do I go about washing the Boro tank? Do I need to remove the red oring or can I just leave it in place? I'm just a little worried about removing it as I've read a few people having issues getting it back in once removed. Also if I somehow forget which way the glass came out am I totally screwed? I know it only goes in one way but I see absolutely no indication which way it would go in without remembering.

Warm water and mild soap has worked for me.

I put a small piece of tape with a smiley face on it, directly in the middle of the glass, before I took it out.
Not hard to remember then!

Also, for a Rev3, it's easy to remember the tab goes on the right...otherwise the tank won't fit in the box.
For the Rev4, I would recommend my tape idea too.

Thanks for the tip! Is it even possible to tell which way it goes back in otherwise? Also will the red gasket stay in while I clean it or should I remove that as well? Is it really that difficult to get back in place?

Which tank? Rev 4?
The glass on Boro tanks has a bevel on one side, that lets it slide to do its job.

The Rev3 glass is asymmetrical, so it's foolproof in design.

The Rev4 is symmetrical, so if you get it flipped over, it won't do its job very well, if at all.

Unless you have a very keen eye, I've heard it's almost impossible to tell which is the front or back...until you assemble it and it doesn't work.

As far as the gasket, I've had ZERO issues putting it back in.
Now, putting the Delrin tank gasket back in was a bit of a challenge, because of all the fiddly screws.

I typically just wash my tanks, and if the gasket pops out, I put it back in. Most of the time it doesn't pop out.

After a light scrubbing in warm soapy water, I let the tank soak in running warm water, so any soap left in/on the gasket will go away.

"Methinks you're over-complicatin' it, son."

Just seen more than a few people ruin their gaskets by putting the glass back in the wrong way and others who have issues getting the gasket back in place so I was just being cautious and seeing as a replacement gasket is only available in the kit for $6.50 and a tank is $32 better safe than sorry. For $300 you think they would mention these sort of things in the instructions they send and maybe include an extra gasket or two. Sorry if my questions seem stupid I just don't want to ruin my tank and end up with a $250+ paperweight.

Oh I feel ya! I just also don't want you stressing out so hard that your brain turns it into that same $250+ paperweight cuz you're afraid to use it! I've been down that road!

I think most of the issues with the gaskets not sitting in place, involved upside down glass...because without the bevel, the glass smashes the gasket, and does not ride over it like it should.

I still recommend the tape method.
Just a tiny little square of clear tape, on the "front" of the glass. It will help you get a tactile feel for front vs back.

For the record: The only stupid questions are those that are never asked.

Anyone heard of or have any info on something called the Hot Tank? I saw someone on FB mention it and apparently it's a bridge for the BB that takes full size Triton coils. I would love to get a hold of one if it's real.

I haven't heard of it but that's not unusual. I tend to stick with things that were made for the Rev 3's

Those coils need huge air to work properly. Does the BB do that?

I never owned a Rev3 but I do know the airflow was enlarged for the Rev4. The main reason I was excited to hear about a possible new Triton bridge was for the 1.8 coils as that's what I've been using for the past year and absolutely love them.

I did find some more info on the Hot Tank and apparently it's a whole new tank for the Rev4 only and replaces the stock Boro as the the Atlantis style coils are too big for the stock Boro base. It hasn't released yet but it will cost $100 plus you also need to supply your own gasket and glass and no info on capacity yet that I can find.

Today, a friend and recent Rev 3 convert, told me about some adapter that allows you to put a 22mm atty on top of the BBox...

My first response was to spit out the bile that had risen in my throat!

I saw that right after I ordered my first BB and for some reason I really want it. I doubt I would ever use it but now that I have a BB I kinda just want to get anything and everything that is compatible with it :)

Ha! I actually just bought one, just for the novelty. First thing I put on it was a calix. :)
