Anyone have any experience/issues using a Triton Mini 1.2 ohm coil in a Rev3?

They're essentially a nautilus coil, with lower resistance and more airflow.

I've just breathed new life into my Kabuki tank, by trying the Triton Mini 1.2 coil in there, and it's VERY much to my liking.

My Nautilus Bridge fits the coil, and the assembly fits the BBox tank perfectly fine...

I've done the math, and because the 1.2 coil is loving life at 15 watts on my Radius...that means I'd need to dial my BBox "all the way" up to 4.25 volts...

This should all work, yes?

That's how I would calculate it

That's what I got!

So far it's been great!

A little cooler vape than I'm used to.

Something just feels weird about firing a 1.2 ohm coil any higher than 4.25v/15 watts.

Maybe I'm just afraid of shorter battery life...

Why would I, when the Rev3.a exists?
[emoji12][emoji12][emoji12]

I'm barely pushing 15 watts (at 4.25 volts) out of my Rev3...who needs 40???
Actually with that 1.2ohm coil, you're over the technical amp limit, and those batteries probably die in about 5 puffs. :) :)

So...

Higher amp handling, safety/auto battery cutoff, MUCH longer 18650 battery life.

Just try out a Rev4!

With this being 2013 - I'd think maybe by '14 or '15 when the later rev3's were out, that I'm sure it went up from there.

I'll bet it's higher. So you might be good. But should use protected batteries! :) ;)

From FB:

Our next stock update will take place on Wednesday, December 14th at 8:30am mountain time.
This will give us a few extra days for production and you'll still get the boxes in time for X-mas.

We'll also be implementing the 1 per person rule again to make sure more people can get a Box!

You're right...it may or may not have gone up...I'll ask them.

I remember Provape had similar incremental upgrades in the "Pre P3" devices.

I'm running Black AW's...label says "protected"...

Hahaha I done learnt all this when I started using a BBox, and then I fell back in love with my Kayfun v4's, and done forgotted it all!

Does anyone have a picture of RPG Piebald = Royal Purple Grey with Pearl Button?

I'm not sure what pic it is on the website. :(

I need to get my Christmas present.:)

I did not realize it but I had never taken a picture of it yet, I had to go snap a couple. :)

I have two and they are quite different colours, the youngest one is a pearlier grey and the older one 2014 is a darker more eggplant. Left is 2016 right is 2014 it might not show properly on comp screens but is very noticeable in RL

I have heard about the slight variations in the colors, my 2 are the same. It has something to do with the batch, and how they mixed the colors. I think anything bought now would be the same as mine.
