Have you had any issues with dry hits?
No dry hits!

Still haven't been able to find an insider yet. I joined the fb group but I haven't seen a sale or list go up the last 2 weeks.
I found Vapin Art selling them last week. Was frustrated with the FB lists and such.

Those of you who are interested in the Insider, Wicks & Vapes (Canada) has it in stock. I just ordered one and it came out to approximately 150 USD, including the least expensive shipping method.

Insider RBA For Billet Box Rev 4 - Steam Tuners

Update: I just received the tracking number.

The genius part of the Insider (and Exocet) is the 510 threaded bottom.

Take the airflow control ring off, and thread the device onto another mod.

I built it on my Provape Radius, and test fired it! Super easy!

This deck is probably the easiest thing I've ever built on.

@HBcorpse - do you by chance have a pic of the build deck, please?

There is a really good pic of it in that link above your post, I looked at it a while ago, I was able to open the pic in a new tab and got a good look at it. Looks easy to build on, I think if I had a rev 4, I would get one. :2c: :)

Super easy to build. Machining is well done. I would recommend the Insider to all. I used the skinnier of the two chimneys and can also adjust the airflow to my liking. For me it's a great MTL toot

The deck looks a lot like the Doggy, same type of configuration anyway, I really need to get me a Rev 4.:|

Toot toot toot (happy happy) B Bridge and Nauti B Bridge.

Toot.

I have 3 of the original bridges all in use they are great, but I am always looking for a new rebuildable, that I like. I like the racing bridge, it is like a Kayfun deck, very easy to build, it just takes up too much room in the tank.:|

I was pleasantly surprised with the doggy, in regards to the amount of liquid it holds. I'm not sure how it compares to the Racing bridge/kanger rba. If I top off the tank with the doggy it gets me through a whole day of work plus some(or chain vaping with a six pack of beer plus some- if I'm at home). My guess is it's closer to 4.5 ml than the 3.5 the kanger rba claims.
I should have prefaced that with the fact I'm a MTL vaper using between 4-5mg,so ymmv.

Yeah the Doggy is the next one I am going to try, it is supposed to work with rev 3 & 4. It is just going to have to wait a while, till my bank account recovers from the abuse, I have been subjecting to it. :|

Thought i'd give my final impression of the insider: TWO THUMBS UP.

My first wicking job led to some leaking, second led to some dry hits.

After work I adjusted the coil, it was slightly off the airhole, not sure if that could have contributed to it. Made sure there was a little thicker amount of wick in the coil and then thinned the tails down a little more. The tank wicked perfectly with no dry hits, refilled and no leaking.

I really like that it feeds from the bottom, compared to the aspire bvc bridge i use in my other where the wick holes are a little higher.

For building, like others have said, it is a breeze.

Okay, I'll chime in a little. I have the Exocet with KFV5 1.6 MTL pin installed, the Doggy with MTL kit, and the Insider.

All are made very well, no surprise there. My favorite is the Exocet, followed by the Doggy, and then the Insider.

I'm pretty much a strictly MTL vapor and closing down the air from the outside is not the same as restricting the air exit hole inside the chamber. The Exocet and Doggy were unusable to me until I installed the KF pin on the Exocet and swapped the MTL pin on the Doggy. The Insider does provide a tight draw with the adjustable airflow ring but the way the air hits the coil not the same. I don't know if it's the velocity or what, can't explain it, but there is a huge difference between air exiting a 1.6mm hole and air exiting a massive 2mmx6mm (not exactly sure on dimensions) even if the draw feels the same. The flavor is good on the Insider but I don't get the velvety smooth density I get with the Exocet or Doggy. That is not a knock on the Insider at all. It's just my vape style/preference does not seem to match the Insider.

Anyways, just my opinion. Take it for what it is.

...and looking particularly marvelous in that wonderful shade of orange (if I do say so myself).
ORANGE??? I'm looking to send these to anyone that wants to add magnets and enjoy. I'm just about done with the spool so might be able to run a couple more sets off if there is a large interest.
