Good Morning!

Anyone notice a significant difference in the vape experience on the Rev3 compared to the Rev4, when using the OG BVC and Bridge?

No doubt the airflow is more significant on the rev4, but I am also wondering if the chipset is making a difference, as well?

Just curious if anyone else is noticing a distinct difference?

I am kind of out of the norm. I like the vape on my Rev3 better. It seems to deliver a smother vape to me. And seems to hit a little harder if you set them both up to use the same volts. YMMV.

But I take my Rev4 to work because of the battery life. And I am very happy with the vape it gives me. I'd buy another in a heart beat.

I guess I am trying to be a little too PC.

Both are great, but I think the Rev3 can't be beat for what I like, and how I vape.:nun:

So, I guess it is my turn to not be PC!

I also prefer the vape on the rev3...the only downside for me was the batteries. Looking back, I think I made that a bigger deal than it really was.

Oh...my sad heart...missing the rev3, the tight and smooth draw of days gone by.

Okay...let me be fair - the rev4 is a great device and I am very happy to own one.

You know what would rock? A resigned rev 3... Same getup as the rev 4 BUT where the DNA screen / module is slap the rev 3 dial in there.. Axe the rev 4 boro for the rev 3 delrin!

Ya that would rock! Basically a rev 3 with an 18650! BOOM!

Yep. Or, simply shove a lipo in the rev3 and call it good. Those can always be swapped. And, I loved the old sliding doors over the magnets, but hey....I am just being picky.

After much deliberation on the topic of this new atomizer, I had a thought this evening.

Many people have not yet "upgraded" to the Rev4, and many people don't want to (nothing wrong with that).

This means the atomizer would be best designed to fit the Rev3 Boro.

Why design around the Rev3 Boro?

Because atomizers like the Exocet and Insider don't work/fit in the Rev3 Boro.

All atomizers for the Rev3 Boro have no problem fitting in the Rev4 Boro.

With the right MTL/DTL airflow control, the atomizer could be a viable option for all versions of the BBox.

Hell, if it worked in the Rev3 Boro, I could rotate my Rev3's out of semi-retirement.

The other reason for designing around the standard Boro, and not the A-tank, is this:

Every BBox comes with a standard Boro tank.

This means every customer would already be capable of using this atomizer.

------------

All that being said, I've also posed the idea of a modified part to be made that can convert the current design to work in the A-tank, for those who already have that tank.

I've also posed the idea that the atomizer (and all iterations of it) could incorporate either active airflow control (like the Exocet and Insider) or static airflow control (like the Kayfun v5 MTL adapter kit)...and that the Kayfun v5 style would work better, since the center pin of a build deck really determines the airflow, and that active control systems don't always affect/make up for larger center pins.

This would give the widest reach to BBox owners.

Some of you may have already come to these conclusions, so rest assured these points have been passed along to the vendor.

Hopefully we will see something soon!
