Haven't seen the news in awhile, didn't know you were having bad fires, but glad it's raining and getting better. Hope you're safe.
I live in the Adelaide Hills and we have been packed and ready to evacuate since Sunday. Can't really stray too far which is why I have time to play. We keep loosing power and telecoms while they even the load but whatever the risk we love living in this Bushland environment. Colin lives in our trees.
And Krisma, please feel free to send some of that heat to the northern hemisphere... it's gonna be 13 degrees tonight... that's Fahrenheit... in ATLANTA!!!!!!!! 8-o

Can you believe, it actually once got to -9F here? I kid you not -- it was the freakiest thing I've ever seen; sometime around '84 I think. But trust me, when it gets to 13 degrees here, everybody leaves their faucets dripping all night -- cheaper to pay a high water bill than pay some plumber plus whoever else to fix the damage when they freeze and burst. That happened to my parents once -- they had white carpet!

Her territory is safe as well. She lives in an official reserve up the road so she has wildlife officers looking out for her wellbeing.
