Hi everyone, i havent posted lately but ive been following along, nice to see home hasnt changed too much! :vapor:

Andria i wanted to chime in on the bridge/diver/sophia discussion a bit because im afraid that you may miss what in my opinion is one of the best things to happen to the billet box. on the cost side of it the bridge is not cheap, but the carto vs coils cost difference is not as simple, i believe a five pack of bvc can be had for around 10 dollars, 65 cents more each than a carto, but a carto would last me about 15 ml before it needed to be changed, i can get about 30 ml from the bvc coils, so the life alone should even out the cost. Also a carto takes about 1ml to fill, and you throw out some of that when you change it, a coil is only drops. If you are vaping .50 per ml juice you should at least come out even.

IMHO you owe it to yourself to carefully consider the bridge, the economics arent that bad, and the vape quality is great

When not using my BB, I use a topper called a 'Silo', which uses the BVC coils, and I average out around 10-12 days between swap-outs, and usually vape 4-5 mls per day. With cartos, if lucky I can get 2-3 days before I get bugged enough to change out. So I do agree with the cost factor cheapness of the BVC coils - and the flavor is very nice too.

The who? Ya mean those evil birds? Harrumph! I'm afraid that Green Bay will have to play a perfect game - and even that may not be enuf - to escape the beaks and talons of those blasted hawks! (Good luck, J5! Enjoy the game! ;))

Go Pats!!!

No not the evil birds. The quacks because that's what they're playing like. If we had a QB that wasn't always looking for a grandstand play so he can run it himself. WE NEED AN OFFENSE!!!

I hope Cats okay. We were messaging back n forth throughout the game and then her phone went dead when we made the touchdown to put us ahead.

Congratulations!

we were so close... the BB has an amp limit of 3 amps, 4v at 1.2 ohm is a 3.5 amp draw, our beloved Billet Boxes cant power this coil in stock form.

Mr DD of BB can we have a little more power? pretty please? :nun:
sure! turn the dial up...

but what you want to fire a sub ohm coil is amps.. Here we hit a wall... the batteries. The protected ones can only discharge at 3 to 3.5 amps... that's it.. most cheap brand cells can't even come close to that. Not even cheap IMRs... That is the primary reason why the circuitry is what it is in the BB.. It wouldn't matter what the board cut out at, the batteries would cut out or drop off... Sure, i could push the envelope of what some IMR cells this size are rated to do, but it would not be safe or responsible engineering on my part.. so "I" can't... at least not in this form factor.... sorryz...

Even if it did, what about battery life?

a protected 16340 cell wouln't even fire the thing... the protection would interpret it as a short circuit.. so that would be 0% batt life..
I tried that new aspire .5 sub head thing doobers on a 26650 mech, massive thing, but that cell would also probably start my truck and power a small village...

Well, that just sounds like a right-peachy excuse to make an 18350-powered Billet Box, don'tcha think?

Just grab that CAD drawing 'n scale everything out a bit (exceptin' the tank height, so's cartos 'n such still work), and BAM, there's yer daddy right there.

Size the 'electric juice compartment for Purple Efest IMRs & they should be able to push it (push it real good!).

I'll even give ya the name to save ya some think-think: Bigger Box.

BAM.

Don't thank me now, just send me one off the line when ya start crankin' 'em out....

Pretty sure I just ran out of apostrophes.

I already have that drawn up in CAD(among 30 other things i may or may not ever build).... will give you full credit for the name though... damn... that is good...

I have a mech mod - a really good one (that I was an IDIOT to buy!) - that just sits in its fancy box, awaiting an adoption plan. Also have a couple of mods that can go to 100 watts. They, too, don't get used much. And when they do, it's at 10-12 watts (4.2-4.6 volts, depending on coil). That's my sweet spot; more is not better. I'm perfectly happy being a wimpy Tweety. So, my BB is fine just the way it is. It's safe, it works, and it's pretty! I would like a clear non-Boro tank, though. Just sayin :)

Question for DD. If I break the glass in my Boro tank (not quite saying I did :( ) but if I did can we get replacements.

Let me help you out since no one noticed that you're NOT saying you broke it, but you'd like to know if you can buy an EXTRA Boro tank? Is that what you meant to write?
