We only got about 8 inches, but the cold is difficult. I was out for only 35 minutes and my fingers went numb (very unusual). I've done two-plus hours (many times) and not have that happen. It'd COLD. And ... windy too.

Just prepping for round 2 now, to complete the assignment (hopefully). It's nice having fingertips again. Those little buggers are pretty useful, y'know?

You need to get some of these. But they have a pretty hefty price, battery operated heaters inside.

Just thought I'd show you folks who aren't on Facebook some of the work a guy that goes as "Va Por" has been doing to fancy up his Billet Boxes.

This first one is hard gold plated and has Damascus steel plate sides and a Mokume Gane button. The Damascus is a little dark but you can still see the detail:

And this also appears to be gold plated, with Mokume Gane sheet sides and button:

Honestly, I'm not sure which one I hate worse.

Seriously... The BB is already darn close to a piece of art, why would anyone want to mess 'em up like THAT? Geez....

Sorry for the late response Archman. Keep in mind that the color kind of messes with your eyes and in some light it looks more grey and others more dark purple.

As for the Sophia, the draw is definitely better compared to using it in a 510 connection. I want to say it's a very similar draw to the bridge but it's been a long time since I've used the bridge. I've actually ordered one and it should arrive today just so I can have one just in case. I'll let you know for about the difference in the draw. I'm also running my Sophia at 1.8 - 2.0.

Actually I take that back the Sophia is still a tighter draw compared to the bridge.

He owns Precision Machining and Manufacturing and from what I gather is/has designed a rebuildable atomizer for the Billet Box that seems to be in the beta stage with availability to come.
