Guess what came in the mail today. batteries!!!

While I'm charging them, I have a question.

How do y'all prime your cartos. I've been using the IBTanked Thingy. But, I believe I read that the carto can be primed right in the delrin tank by pressing on the face of the tank. Is that correct? Does anyone else do it that way?

Dancin(queen?), like those before me, I've found the condom fill to do the trick. Syringe filling is also a very good option, but top filling bites. It's a long wait to get the karto filler saturated to where it belongs (at the bottom of the karto)....... IF it even ever gets there. That's an "iffy" proposition. Kartos are deceptive little kreatures. They can look all slushy and juicy at the top, but be totally dry where it kounts.

(stop it, DPL. i can hear you.)

The IBT thingie works, but is annoying at best. Screw, unscrew, screw, unscrew, screw, unscrew, and then do that about 57 more times.

Peter, hope your surgery went well!

Happy birthday stud, turning 30 this year? Hope is been a great one!

How is everyone else doing this find evening? Got the beautiful RPG today. Not the same color I was expecting, the people is more prominent but it's so unique, I love it! Modifications to come soon...

andy, love the RPG! I don't know if it's my monitor, but I don't see the R or the P or the G.. :?: So, what modifiers will you employ? :)

Wrists both hurt. six cortisone shots in fingers. Will hurt worse tomorrow. Many typos. After BM, can do paperwork myself while standing with pain, one less job for Cindy-yay! Can vape, can drink from soda can, can read Kindle. Typing with one finger. Won't write many replies, as it takes a while. Will see what tomorrow brings...

Nice people here. Thank you all for the kind words. More friends here than on Facebook - go figure...

FYI - link to me on Facebook if anyone wishes to 'friend' me...

Peter underscore! Wow, you actually were able to one finger type and post? YAAY! I'm sure you're hurtin' a bit, but I do hope you feel better very quickly. I'm impressed you were able to come and join us tonite!

anyone picked up this nice RDA from urq today? First easy to rebuild rda that I as a BB newb found. Not many left if any I think but worth the purchase if you are sick of buying BVC coils like me

I actually am a) not sick of buying BVCs, and 2) like them very much. There are (believe it or not) some of us who shy away from anything that looks like we'd have to twist teensy wires. :D

Do let us know how you like it. I hope it gains more popularity than the 'Roo (which appears by DPL's vision and mine to be a not-so-hot commodity?).

I'm watching those too (Kat?). It's a bit early and I think we'll see improvements to the design, but I also think it's the future of mods, once perfected. Prices will come down, and problems will be corrected. No rush here.

And it all began right here (with the BB's), such a long, long time ago.

Not yet, but still on the evening's agenda, DPL. I'll possibly report back on it. Or not. Depends on me mood. ;)

Right now those hybrid tips are the only option. I've got a few on the way, after having sold my first two (too short). I'm not crazy about the 11mm, but it will do. Have you asked Rick Eagle if he has any more? I think they're gone but it's worth checking. If not, watch for the sales. They'll happen.

Kat's already got one, a wide bore that we won with a BB in a raffle on Friday night, and she said it's performing nicely. I'm looking forward to getting my package.

But she also has a very special one that was hand press-fitted by the master himself, DD. It came in a box with my beautiful L'Orange (zip it, haters) back on my birthday last year. I kept it a secret for the longest time, but now that all this other stuff is out, I'm lettin' loose.

It's one of a kind, top by Atmistique, brass screw by BBV. And it's MARVELOUS.

DD, I never did publicly thank you for that, so now that I can.... THANK YOU!!!! It contributed to one of the best birthdays of my life (true, dat).

Sorry it's so dirty in this pic - it was before I shipped out west. It's much prettier now that she's caring for it. Temporarily, of course. Right, Kat? ;)

Good night, all.

OUTED.

 (x a bazillion)

And nooooooooooooo......... now you're definitely NOT getting it back!!! But Happy Birthday.

Jussss jokin'. Of course you'll get it back, sweetie..........

I liked the idea of those SS drip tips replacing the brass screw (or even just a SS screw) but it was just too expensive and I couldn't switch them around the way I like to do. If I could get one like the bottom half of the chuff tips so I could add all my drip tips on top at a reasonable price I would jump on it.

Hmmm now that pic on my monitor looks..........gray lol But.......if the purple, rather than perhaps the people, is more prominent....... the RPG might be right up my alley. I'd love a royal type purple too, but I do think the Lila might be too pinky. Don't like pinky purples, or blooey purples. But deep dark plums, aubergines, I like!! Same issue when I was doing my card making and papercrafting.... we'd take pics to share in the galleries, always said, if anyone invented a camera that would always show spot on color, and the true impact of glitter, they'd make a fortune......probably several fortunes!!

Wahooooooo Dancin!!! So glad you got your BB and happily BBV'in away!!! :D

Morning, everyone. How are you all this morning?

The RPG is really unique. It's definitely grey but there's a purple tint to it. It's really hard to describe, it's not a color I can say I've ever seen before. Again, very unique and I love it.

Wanttoquit, I was running into an issue finding the style of drip tip I wanted so I reached out to find someone who was willing to do a custom one. I wanted a straight, wide tip with a narrow bore and couldn't find any that were stocked anywhere.

Which leads me to your question, Kat, custom tip and matching button. I won't discolse the material just yet, though, it's a secret <shhhh> but it's going to look thuper thexy!!!

I just ordered a drip tip from Drip Tip Designz - a Tru-stone wide bore in Black with Gold web.

Should go well with my Rat Black, just have to wait now whilst it "crosses the pond" (DP ;) )

Drip Tip Designz tip arrived today, loving it, I will definitely be ordering more :-

I think folks might be expecting a little too much with the Kangaroo and stock coils. 1.2 ohms seems like a lot for the BBox to handle (I just couldn't do that to those poor tiny little batteries!)

My brother in law tried his and didn't like it and he offered it to me (mines still in the mail). I suggested he try recoiling an OCC head at higher ohms, put an o-ring on the bottom and try it again. He said at 1.6ohms it's pure deliciousness!! Unfortunately, once he tried it he rescinded his offer. I think what he said was "no can haz". :)

I'm still quite happy with my Billet Bridges, and at the rate those Kangaroos are going back up & out for re-sale*, I'd want to let things settle a bit before dropping a dime.

* Ridiculously quick, if nobody's noticed.

Why? Did I jst order a Kangaroo for no good reason? I love the OOC coils. Nice and airy.

Got off the phone with DD this morning. he's shipping my BB back and hopefully I will have it by the end of the week. He said the auto-firing was caused by a battery being too long and crushing the contact into the box. The Ver. 2 fired by grounding the button when you pushed it. He's upgrading the electronics to the latest version and fixing the battery connector issue. Can't wait to have the old BeaterBox back in my hands. :vapor:

Call me lame. Some folks tried friend me on Facebook - and since I didn't *know* them, I declined - silly me did not remember or think that duh-handles and FB names might be different.

Please feel free to try again if you like.

I get a lot of them but they're almost always someone trying to sell me something. Especially the ones that say I won a prize. The prize is 20% off on something they're selling.

This is the reason why I don't think I'll be getting one. I cant imagine how long my tiny AW batteries last! An hour? 2 tops? LOL!

I did buy a DDD off the classies the other week. Its pretty good cause I can recoil the smok atties that came with it, but I think I'll stick with my cartos and Billet Bridge.

my kangaroo is working wonderfully, battery life hasnt been a major issue for me, i got about a third of a tank per set of batteries, usually i get half a tank with bvc. For me thats great battery life, compared to my mechanical at .2 ohm :vapor: the biggest thing i noticed was the amount of juice i went through... a lot of it

honestly i dont believe that this is what most current BB users are looking for in their vape experience its a lot of airflow and i think most BB users like a tight draw. for me this is a matter of i LOVE the design of the BB, but this is the first time ive gotten a satisfying amount of warmth, vapor density and cloud (i know that parts just psychological) The kangaroo is a radical change to the BB, if the bvc is the kind of vape you like, then the 'roo is not for you. I needed more than the bvc provided. my :2c:

Amazing. Have you all watched the video on this? It's fascinating that it is completely B Box inspired. I do think it's early, DPL, and that changes will occur with it, but it's definitely something to keep an eye on. The ability for vapers to use what they want in attIES should be a huge win. I would not jump on this now tho.

There she is! Nice to meet you Kat. :)

want to quit, the pleasure is mine, and somehow, somewhere, I believe we've crossed paths prior to this. If that's not the case, then hi hi hi, and nice to meet you!

I like the way you think, Kirsma. That would be the roos, koalas, alligators, dingos, kat's meow!

Best of F5'ing, Doc! Hope you get one, truly.

I do admit to being a FB doofus, Peter, but I THINK we connected. :?:

I'm thrilled to see you tip tap typing a bit! I ran into someone today who just had CT surgery 5 days ago. He reported the pain was gone as were all the CT symptoms. Feel good, hon!

This is the reason why I don't think I'll be getting one. I cant imagine how long my tiny AW batteries last! An hour? 2 tops? LOL!

Somehow, and I was reminded by my Bestie tonite, we all seem to forget that the B Box is a masterfully crafted yet variable VOLTAGE box mod. And for those of us who remain Tootle Puffers, it is perfection in a pocket/purse. It's easy to understand people wanting "more" from it tho. I remain content with it's original design and it's delightful vape.

Tootle Lu~ ;)
