How quickly do these sell out and what time normally are they posted. I need details! I must not have an atomizer that I cannot use!
Link a finger, stick in the air, and hope with all your energy.

But USUALLY anytime between 10:00 and 13:00 (EDT).

Tootle puffers. Leave it to you, darlingKat.

DP, you forgot to mention that they sell out in minutes! So, no bathroom breaks (or blinking).

Thoughts so far on my beautiful new Fawkes:

Well, first of all, I found a drip-tip that matches.

bbRedTip.jpg

Second, the airflow seems better with the back off the BB. Is there anything I can do to improve the airflow?

Third, the batteries are very, very tight. I put a thin strip of something underneath them when I put them back in to help next time. I was afraid I might damage them otherwise by using various objects to pry them out. (I have very weak, useless fingernails.)

Fourth, unless the delrin tank becomes more flexible as it ages/breaks in, you absolutely have to prime the carto completely before inserting it.

Fifth, the Fawkes is even more beautiful in person. Something I will be proud to carry with me out in public A lot more classy than carrying 7 inches of tube and tank. (Only 7 inches? It feels more like 10!)

You know I love that color! And your tip looks great!

Airflow...... what are you using inside? Am I correct in guessing a karto?

Dancin'! No fingernails should EVER be injured in the battery removal process! Just THWACK the back of the B Box and let those little batts come flying out into your hand! That's the way (uh huh) we "PROS" do it. :D

I abstolutely agree on priming the karto (or any coil) ...... in any device. In the B Box, I find it's also important to "prime" (lube up) the O rings as well. Makes them happy. Then they make us happy. It's rather like a date. ;)

5) Yes, she is beautiful. Vape proudly.

Picked one up, but don't have a BB Hopefully that will change this Saturday

Awesome!! and welcome!! Loved doc brown in BTTF movies.

DDD, eh? Had to call a friend on that one. ;)

Care to share.......don't have any friends to phone who would know. and they'd be asleep if they did. :)

Apparently the sell out about 30 seconds after they're listed!! lol Have a long list of favorites, in order of preference, grab the first one you see on your list. Good luck. Hope you get exactly what ya want, but if not, don't give up!

Dancin......sounds like you're still breakin it in and gettin used to it. Do ya think you'll be lovin it? If I ever end up getting one, I think the bridge will be the way to go perhaps. They sure would be perfect for out and about. Also. much smaller I reckin than they seem. Someone said something about smaller than CC I know other types of mods have shocked me and many that they were smaller than a CC the BB looks so much wider, but probably isn't as wide as it looks.

Kat,

Yes, I'm using a carto, a slotted 3 ohm carto from Sweet Vapes.

I had forgotten about the THWACK thing. But, I just tried it, and it didn't work. The batteries don't budge. I hesitate to THWACK it any harder. The piece of tape will have to do for now.

Thanks for the reminder to lube the o-rings. I had forgotten.

Debadoo,

Yes, almost exactly the size of a credit card. I just tried it, and the credit card completely covers the face with about a mm of the CC hanging over each side.

Here's a pic of the Fawkes next to a REO Mini 2.1:

The DDD is similar to the Billet Bridge except instead of using Aspire Coils ot uses the Kanger "like" Smok coils. Pretty cool IMHO and I can rebuild the coils indefinately!

Morning, everyone. It seems that, no matter what, this cold will not yield. At least we'll see high 40s today. I was really hoping for warmer weather this weekend but I'm still going to smoke some ribs on Sunday.

Does anyone happen to know (I doubt there is) if there is a 510 adapter to use on aspire BVC or nautilus BVC heads? I was wondering if there was a way to use either coil type in a regular carto tank.

Hey DH - did you get the airflow thing figured out yet?

One thing you could try is lining up the tiny air holes in the bottom of your carto so that they are on the left and right, not front and back (hope that makes sense). I'm suggesting that because that's the way the airflow goes in the BB. I should say that I haven't used a carto in my BB yet but it makes a small but notable difference when I do that with the BBridge and a BVC head.

Love the matching tip! Your pretty new BB is stylin'! :)

Aka "Sabot". :)

I wonder if that one was once mine. Or maybe it was Kat's. :D

AH HA! I knew it went by another name but could not for the life of me remember what it was called! Thank you, it was driving me nuts!

LOL! How funny is THAT! ck, your designation made me a bit nuts too! I had NO CLUE what that was. I completely forgot the Sabot was the DDD!

Dear Doofus Darling!!!

Andy, Krisma did a bit of modding and was able to use the coils in a karto tank. I was never quite able to learn her technique (altho I haven't given up the idea, KrisXX!).

If someone invents an adapter, oh boy oh boy oh BOY, sign ME up!!! Poor little karto tanks all sitting here in a row looking sad and sleepy.

Thanks! Hopefully, she'll chime in on that. I mean, it seems like the simplest thing, it would basically be a bridge with 510 threads at the bottom, doesn't sound very complicated to me... I tell you, if I had the resources, I'd make the things myself, lol. Seems to be an untapped gold mine just sitting there.

Actually, I just found Krisma's post on the DIY carto adapter for the BVC. I had no idea these coils used proprietary 510 threads. That's awesoeme!

Very koolio, Andy! So did ya make several hundred for us? ;)
