Question for you guys....I got my first Billet Box (Ratbald) and i'm just shocked how nice this thing is in person....so nice im kind of scared to bring it out for daily use.
How durable is the anodized finish??? I would love to just toss it in my pocket and let it ride with my keys & coins without scratching the black coating. or if I were to drop it by accident on the street, will the impact chip off the coating? how is the finish holding up for you guys?

I kind-of want to find a 3.0 so that way i can just "polish" off any scratches...

My first one that I bought was the RPG, and the first week I took it to work, it slipped out of my pocket onto concrete, it has happened at least 2 more times, and the nicks do show. My regular silver one has had that happen also, but at least the color is the same so you can't really see it unless you look real close. These 2 will be my beaters I guess, so aluminum hitting concrete, the concrete wins.

Well.. I'm a girl, and mine goes in my rear jeans pocket at work, but all by itself. I don't think I'd have scratchy things like keys or coins in there with it, just wouldn't seem right. But I do sometimes stick my cell phone or iPod in with it, no ill effects.

I've dropped my v1.0, but never my Lila Monster. The drop was on a tile floor, and I got lucky that it must have landed square and nothing got dinged or bent. The anodized finish seems to be a lot more sturdy than the plain aluminum, and needs a lot less maintenance on the door crevasses. They do still need to be cleaned, but not as often and they don't seem to get "gummy" like the original.

Good morning BB dudes and dudettes,

When will the madness and chaos calm down. I watched the sale of BB and Boro tanks on the atmistique site last night. Most gone in less than a minute (before my email alerts hit) and a blue and a TMNT that lasted at least 2 mins. WOW how do you guys do it on a Saturday I will never fathom.

How? Stalkers..... and Stalkettes. ;)

I desperately need to clean out and list some of my vape stuff, so maybe this could be a good thing for me??

NOPE - NOT "Me" . . . :nah:

YEP - Just like a "Dark Hole" pulls-in a Universe . . . ;)

YEP - Ya' can read and catch-up with all the threads - like "Are YOU a Tootle Puffer??" - Ya' been wanting to read all the way through, but haven't (just won't be able to check-off multiquotes and/or respond to anything until ECF is back) . . . AS for "FB" - Might as well checkout it out too, since I usually only go there about once every month or so . . . ;)

OH - INTERESTING "STUFF" HEY ! ! ! Like What ? ? ? ?

AGREED ! ! ! AND Hopefully - Put "Stuff" that's never ever been used up for sale in the "Classies" when "We" get ECF back . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

LOL! Uncs, can you just imagine the Classifeds come Friday? THE most popular thread on ECF!

And yes, it would be a VERY good time to go thru inventory and see what items need a good, new home.

(I'm talkin' to YOU, Katdarling.) :D

I can't help. I baby mine. Always in a case or velvet bag when I go out and I am mortified by any blemish. I can't imagine just throwing it in a pocket although I am sure you could. But then I am a girl :)

I'm with ^^ girl.

SEEYA FREEDAY! (or whenevs.)

Yup. I'm planning on doing a lot of reading over the next couple of days. Cleaning out and re-arranging my closet. Watching some movies.

Who knows what interesting things I'll discover?

Thanks, that's a good idea. I've been meaning to do that myself and there's no better time.

You and me are so alike.

I carry mine around in my pocket and have keys, coins, screws, etc. in there too sometimes and havent gotten a scratch on that part. The front is where the abrasions and scuffs show on mine but no deep scratches.

OH - INTERESTING "STUFF" HEY ! ! ! Like What ? ? ? ?

Well, there's lots to learn on ECF, among other places. Or, just nonsense to read for fun. Like the Tootle Puffer thread. I stopped reading around post 600 so I could save the rest for when ECF is down. There's also a matching Army of Subasidal Tendencies thread that I'm saving to read over the next couple of days.

I'm also in the process of pulling everything out of my closet bit by bit. Figuring out what I really have. And, putting aside stuff to sell on the classies. Things tend to disappear in that closet. It's a mystery!

DH how are you doing? All ready to be without posting for two days?

can't like this!!

NO !!!!! I don't wanna! :nah:

Like this a lot

I don't have stuff to sell, wish I did. Most of what I do have that I don't use, is either broke.....or I gave it away, or it's so old no one would want it. I do have on VW mod that mostly is in good shape, but right now it's my back up.

That's what I do. Hand it down to another user or tear it apart for parts. I have a couple relics I'm keeping for sentimental reasons.

Well kiddies lets blow this pop stand and meet again after a revolution or two of the earth.

Start of a NEW DAY . . . AND - A NEW ECF . . . Nice to see that almost Everyone is back . . . :D

Thankfully the change is similar to 2 other forums I belong too . . .So not too much different, other then some very great options that those forums have that have yet to be implemented here on ECF . . . So it will be a wait and see process that will take time, just hopefully not to long . . . Especially since it has already taken about an half-hour to set up "My" Profile (including getting "My" sig-line back) and getting "My" Privacy Settings redone, while trying "My" hardest to opt-out of all the other "Stuff" that is here that I would rather not have/be involved with . . . SO "We'll see . . .

Now to get back to "fixing" some other things - Like trying to organize all "My" PM's so I can access what smiley's I've saved there for future use on ECF . . .
office-basketball-smiley-emoticon.gif

HEY - BTW: WHere are all "My" Trophies that so many other people have already . . .
thank-you-smiley-animated-scratch-head02-idea-animated-animation-smiley-emoticon-000415-large.gif

(just joking . . . ;)  )

OH Yea - I almost forgot to mention that I actually took the time to read the whole I am a "Tootle-Puffer" Thread . . . Took 6 hours, but most of the time it was a laugh a minute . . . However, sometime when I get a chance and really have time to do a proper post - including some replies to a few ? ? ? "Real Men" ? ? ? - I'll be seeing "You" there too (even if it is only "Lurking")Just Sayin' . . . ;)

See You Later . . .
