Rick, where did you order the Kangaroo from?

Email Bret at bretrfels (at) gmail (dot) com and he should be able to take care if you. I ordered Saturday and it already shipped.

Thanks! I already use a Sophia with a kit from Atmistique and also a billet bridge w/ aspire but wanted to see how a Kangaroo/OCC compares.

I read that you need a BoroTank to use the Kangaroo. Those tanks are hard to get. I have some of the old clear tanks. Could I just unscrew the face plate and install the Kangaroo? Sorry if this has been discussed before, but it's been a while since I read this thread.

A few FB'ers were successful with that approach, but none were particularly thrilled with the results. The basic theory is that yes, you need a Boro for it. Sorry to be the bearer...

And remember, glass breaks. Everyone over there seems to be totally flabbergasted whenever it happens, which is fairly often and always leaves me scratching my head.

Um, hello? It's GLASS.

I've heard similar stories. Kangaroo will fit the older tanks but doesn't net the same results. I can't elaborate as I don't have an older tank.

I can however compare the Billet Bridge and Kangaroo. The thing I like about the kangaroo are the lung hits it provides, the OCC coils have a much looser draw allowing for direct lung hits. Not so much with the BVC coils, much tighter draw.

I enjoy the Billet Bridge with 12mg ejuice, simple mouth to lung draws.

The kangaroo is perfect with 1.2 coil, 6mg ejuice. And the air flow can be tightened up with the provided o-ring to provide a satisfying mouth to lung vape too.

These are only my opinions and I feel that my perfect vape is the 1.2 OCC @ 5 volts. I haven't set this thing down since I've received it, I absolutely love it.

Thanks DPL, I was afraid of that. Been toying with the idea of selling my two remaining BB's along with sophias, divers, tanks, NR-R wires. Tired of fooling around with those little ceramic cups. But the next day, I puff on one and think "damn, these BB's work good, look good and taste great!" And they're so handy for carrying around in my pocket.

hey just wanted to pop in for a minute and say that i know kangaroos weren't a hit for everyone, but ive been through around 150 ml of juice in mine, i can still say that it saved my billet box from being a pretty dust collector, it now goes to work everyday with me. i get 30 ml per coil and then i change the coil only because i dont like mixing flavors. the flavor reproduction is on par with my subohm rda's, its just a little less intense. I have run 70 to 100 vg through the coils and found no issues. i find it slightly difficult to get the coil to "display" in the tank right and i have had a couple times where i needed to loosen the brass screw and re tighten because it stopped firing, but its an easy fix. The biggest negatives i have seen are that it chews through juice and batteries quickly, especially at 5v. These are issues i have with an rda anyway, so for me the performance was worth it, anything less and my BB would probably be unused now

Yeah, I am awful afraid that I am going to break mine when refilling/cleaning. Is there a way to get replacement glass or must order an entirely new borotank?

Great post! Often simple things like upping the mg can overcome coil limits and is overlooked.

I asked about replacement glass and couldn't find any :(
Managed to chip the tab when hubby dropped it on its corner. Still works but a bit annoying to see.

BBV apparently will sell replacement glass, upon request, for $10. Some feel this is to high and have tried to come up with alternative options. To date, I don't believe there are any...

I also don't believe $10 is unreasonable but opinions, like taste, are subjective.

DPL, please don't hold back. Tell us what you think of the delrin tanks, please?

(and here's another [me] who thinks they are the kat's pajamas!)

$10 is fair, much better than buying an entire new tank ;)

I wonder why they don't just make the stock tank work with the kangeroo and other aftermarket attys. Not complaining as I love my BB.

Hmmm..... I see the other way around, RickCain. I wonder why (some of) the after market items aren't made to work in the B Box tanks. :)
