Okay - I was going to stay out of some of these conversations, however I have been "moved" to speak up . . . As someone who actually moved 49 x's in less than 38 years - YES, that was 11 more times then I was alive - I could pack up everything I had in a one bedroom apartment in one day and move into a new apartment and have it all set up the next day when I was much younger . . . Since then I have calmed down quite considerably and have only moved 9 times in the past 23 years . . . Which was GOOD - since had too much "Stuff" anyway it takes "Me" almost a month (with help & hiring movers too) now and over a week to get it even close to being set it up (last move had over 125 med/large boxes of "Stuff" besides all the furniture & extras) . . . Matter of fact, after being an Executor of a few people (including "My" mother) estates in the past 8 years, I've been trying to get rid of most of that "Stuff" and get back to basics - What I really want (Personal Memorabilia) & the necessities I NEED to Keep (especially so "My" executor doesn't have to go through what I did) . . . So - Although it seems as though I was a "MOVER" for many different reasons, I really hope I do not have to "Move" again or if I do - it will be the last time until I am finally "MOVED ON" . . . Just Sayin' . . . :facepalm:

BTW: Actually going through "Stuff" this past few weeks, including a lot of vape equipment that has got to go, especially since it is sitting here and has not ever been used and never will be . . . Classifieds and PIF here it comes . . . :facepalm:

:shock: That's a lot of moving. Most of my moving was work related so it came with removal services which means you tend to move a lot of stuff you should really get rid off. For us the hard part of moving is getting to that sense of peace and calm that everything is in the right place, you feel safe enough to sleep and you can find your way around the new suburb. We are done now and back in the house we built ourselves. We will be here until we can no longer manage a split level house, the garden or the steepness of the block. :wub:

Most of my possessions are in storage in my brother's garage. Whenever I eventually get to them and get them unpacked, I'll probably just be getting rid of most of it. If I haven't needed it so far, I must not need it at all.
I hear ya. Most of my stuff is in storage also. Still looking for some of it, particularly kitchen items that my dil can really use. I really miss my stamp stuff, so am really hoping we can figure out a way to get some of that out of storage. However, some really good friends who always came to my stamp classes and bought a lot, have gotten their stamp room set up after a long while, and have invited me to come stamp with them later this month. So I'll finally get to do some stamping after over 3 years of not being able to. So excited!!

Wow, that was a lot of moving. I tend to stay put for long periods of time.

Talking bout stuff ......

Hello Everyone!!, Hope the New Year has been good.

I just wanted to follow up and post pics of the UNO build I was referring to a couple'a pages back... (btw, Beck did a very sweet video too)

The technique I use is similar to the way I wick the Subtank Mini rebuildable, snip the cotton a mm or 2 outside the chamber and stuff back in. It has been working absolutely perfect for me. No leaking, no gurgling, just a perfect vape. The pic is 1.2 build, 28 kanthal, 2.5 id and I think 6 or 7 wraps. Pics for clarification:

Ready to put into the tank with no cotton sticking out. Can easily be used in any BB tank.

Oh, and how about a pic of the Beauty hosting the awesome UNO.

Thanks Debs! I love it, I no longer have to burn through BVCs with Wakonda. The NET really gunks the pre-made coils rendering them useless. This is definitely the ticket in that regard!!
Never tried Wakonda, but will get to try some in April. Tried a few NT's that I was piff'd and the one I went stupid over was betelgeuse. But I came up with a DIY that is pretty close to the real thing. Not quite as good, but good enough to keep me from jonesing for it!!

I haven't shown a hand check for a while so while I still have this new driptip I thought I would show it. Made for the RPG billet box it looks just as good on my silver one. It's a new favourite

I've moved so often in the last 15 years that I eventually just stopped unpacking most of it. Most of my possessions are in storage in my brother's garage. Yep - Been there Done That too . . . Actually had everything in storage for 5 Years and then when I went to move everything down here to Florida found out the Storage place bathroom pipes burst and it was right over my storage area . . . NOT NICE ! ! ! :-x :-x :-x Destroyed all the Mission Oak Furniture I collected over the years and a number of other items. However, Thankfully, I was able to salvage some things including a lot of "My" memorabilia, art pieces, and stain glass windows.

I really miss my stamp stuff
Okay - I may regret asking this, even if I think I know what it means . . .
BUT - What is "Your" . . . "Stamp Stuff" . . .

Yep - "A Place for My Stuff" - One of the GREATEST Comedy routines (and albums) ever, especially since it hit the mark. First heard it back in the 80's and why a usually always use quote marks around the word "Stuff" today . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

@spacelord . . . That New Avatar is very confusing . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

@DancingHeretik . . . AND - I really like "Your" New Avatar - SO "YOU" . . . :thumbs:

Uncle, thank you for noticing!!

It's kinda my way of congratulating my favorite baseball player for making the HOF. He vaporized (smoked) the competition with the most votes in history of the HOF.

The card in the avi brings back so many memories, I actually still have a couple in mint condition.

Making cards and things with rubber stamps. I used to teach stamp classes. Most of the stuff in here is from when I first started, I did get a lot better at it. :lol: should anyone care to take a gander
Stampin Addicts
