but.....but.....but......I thought no self respecting Italian ever called it sauce.......is that one of those mythy thingies???? lol

Yes. Gravy is brown stuff that you put on pot roast. Any deviation of that is borderline sacrilegious, and might even get you shot on Arthur Avenue.

Sauce?

2 cans of tomato paste to one (lerger) can of puree. Fry up some meat to add (include the grease!), season to taste

Mom was full blooded Italian. She taught me.

Lasagna for Christmas Eve was just shy of 30#. Plus a smaller one we took in to the barristas at Starbucks the next day (that was 10#)

I know nothing, but the only thing I would want to see a change on is the Battery clips, to be redesigned to allow for the longer batteries that we are having to deal with. :2c:

KAS

AND - Could be those Battery "Straps" DD & I discussed to make removing the batteries a little easier . . . Just A Thought . . .

Or an 18650 sized one!!!!

That would be - A HUGE BOX ! ! !

a magnet would be cool.

Personally - I got one of those Clapor Mini's with the magnet door - Keeps falling off and have to put that rubber coat on to keep everything inside - DON"T LIKE IT . . . :(

I just have a likeness of digital over mechanical but done right (like the BB) they will outlast me.

YEP

Just a Q-Tip with alcohol, followed by the same with a dab of olive oil. You'll never smack it again. All edges, slots, and the ball. I do the battery contacts too.

Anyone, think about using just a little "Saddle Soap"/"Soap in the runners to ease sliding of the door . . . Just A Thought . . . ;)

(Somebody PLEASE hide my envelope because I'm about to PUSH it!)

Here Ya' Go - Let "Me" Help Ya' . . .

YEP . . . AND - Here's what I think is a funny story . . .

When My Mother (New England Born & Breed - DAR too) & Father (Italian) got married the first meal My mother cooked was some Italian dish . . . My Father looked at her and asked where the "Gravy" was . . . So of course to please her husband she went to the kitchen and promptly made "Gravy" (You know the kind Meat Drippings & Flour) and brought it to him at the table . . . Let's Just say he was not please . . . SO for the next few months My Mother spent weekends with My Grandmother (father's mother) and Aunts learning how to make Italian "Gravy" from scratch, along with a few other meals too . . .

Sorry, Unc, but if you are in the tri-state NYC area, sauce is red and gravy is brown. And there are no variations from that theme - ever.

Size-wise, DD and I spoke of the size impact of an 18650 box almost two years ago. Now, with similar in actual production, I can say with the same confidence that I said to him back then, the size impact could be minimal (see pic...).

He obviously didn't like the idea or it would have been done by now. He did explain the challenges to me, and I understood them completely. Besides, I'd HOPE he's not fooling enough to listen to the likes of ME :)danger: Will Robinson!).

But it can be done, rest assured.

And remember - sauce? Red. Gravy? Brown.

The end.

Cat among the pigeons. I have seen and held one of those 18350 clones called the pocket rocket and I can say with confidence that for me that the perceived small increase in size makes a big difference to me. I could not hold it comfortable and even though the button is in the same place as my BB's I could not fire it with ease. It is too chunky. I have not seen the side fire one but cannot even imaging how I would fire it.

Please keep them as they are. If the BB design is changed then my only saving grace would be I could adopt all the spare current versions.

Dibs on them....... :p

Something's not right then, J5. You should contact DD. The anodized doors should be able to sit for months with literally no impact. If it's sticking, something is off with the alignment.

As as one of the few/many who ended up with a stuck door (on the original raw BB), I can assure you that you don't want that to happen. I was lucky in that I was able to remove it without damaging the mod, but many people ended up damaging theirs in the process.

Do yourself a favor and touch base with him.

I think it's more in the little ball. After I get it open I can open and close it with no problem it's just after it's been closed for awhile. I don't mind. Maybe if I hadn't of finally fixing my rear view mirror but that made my world good again.

It's important to keep the balls cleaned and oiled up too.

.....'s recipe from 3 days to kill:

Tomatoes from your garden.
Heat the olive oil, crushed garlic.
I peel tomatoes.
After 10 minutes, no more,
add capers and parsley.
A mother's secret is a glass of red wine
teaspoon of sugar.
