I think I am just going to give up looking for the stuff, I don't really know what I am looking for.

ok, well after RD's post I found essentially the same thing you did. But I have no idea either if it's toxic or not. You could maybe contact aspire and just say ya wanna know what your vaping and ask em what it is......never know, they might tell ya. Just don't tell em ya want it so you can rebuild them lol

If I remember correctly people were harassing them because of what this material was, and even though they had proved to them that it was safe, they stopped making them that way, and that is why we now have the ones we have now. If I could ask them any thing I would ask them to start making the original coils again. I have been having good success with just swapping out the caps, the coils don't last as long as the old ones but at least they don't leak this way.:|

I have two of the non nautilus BVC coils running with the rebuilds I did using rayon and mesh surround
I experimented with both oxidised and non oxidised mesh and I think the oxidised mesh works better but it's marginal I used 400 fine for my 70% PG liquid and I assume that you could adjust that based on your own VG content. May need less fine for thicker eliquids. The rayon wick is the big surprise. Super clean taste and together with the mesh is controlling the flow brilliantly. From what I have read it will last a very long time and I will monitor for its longevity.

Humm. I wonder how rayon would do in an Uno. Has anyone tried it?

Works a treat.

My preferred wicking material.

You can bet, if it's gear I own... and not a genny... it's had rayon in it for quite some time.

I just did another one with pics. The bottom left is just a pic of a socket that I put over the coil to protect the pin and bash with mallet to close. :p

Goin' home, now? I think I hear you coughing. We wouldn't want any of the folks you work with to get sick!

Devastated!

Came today and the tank glass shattered...
OH I'm so sorry hun! That's just wrong to have to wait so long then that happens. If it's like the boro tank, I put a piece of packing tape on the glass so it was longer and I could make a tab off the end of the glass.......then just pull on the tape tab rather than mashing on the glass. Won't help with this one, but maybe the next one. Not my idea, but one I found here that worked great!! Hope you can get a new tank soon and vape yur precious!!

So do you even need more of a reason to know how awesome DD and BB are? Well here you go!

Spoke to DD on the phone and guess what? I already have a tracking # for an overnight shipment of a new tank!

Simply unbelievable how awesome this company is!
