It's an attempt to keep the flippers from buying up units. He's figuring that if he offers a flip version, they may stop. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I believe the intent is to damage the flippers ability to sell.

If flippers want $1,000 (or more) for a stock rev 4 then why buy from them when for the same money you can get direct from BB and it's even a limited run / version..

Not sure I see the logic as now they have created one of a kind rev4 that many people will pay the price. I see it as a waste of inventory and the flippers will continue to play the F5 only to double their money.

I really want that SS button for my silver rev4~~~~!

The best tip from @DPLongo22 was to use chrome and save your CC info.....you could always delete it afterwards.

And the beautiful @Katdarling had another great tip and that was to already have your account setup at the BB website.
