I know a dude that vapes a straight VG/PG mix and he likes it! LOL

Talk about vaping cheap! :D

Been there too. I've vaped straight VG at about 12mg. Wasn't bad but wasn't my favourite either. I still haven't found a good DIY I like.

Straight VG I could do, but the PG hurts me for some reason.....not as bad as before where it would give me bad coughing fits.... and the different flavorings are awesome!!! You can keep it really, really simple and mix up a batch of shake and vape juice with one or a few flavorings.

Just want to thank all the DIY'ers on this thread for helping me out :)

Oh and a scale is a must....no mess and no fuss

Yeah, just really expensive to get things started, but now I see how much money I will be saving :)

In all honesty, a lot of the juices out on the market are crap :( so I'd rather spend a few cents on some crappy juice that I made instead of handing it over to a shop that's selling some hyped FB juice for $22/30ml...lol!

Exactly the reason I started DIY.

yeah it is a bit pricey to get started but at around 3 cent/ml it's worth it!

Jup! Not to mention once you get stocked up on nic.......it's something that deeming can't take away from you. That's why I started a lil over a year ago. I knew I would have to gather things slowly, would be able to plop down a few hundred at once to get everything I needed in case the govt got stupid, like they have.

I started DIY for consistency. In the early days things would take so long to get to us that it seemed like every bottle you opened was different to the last batch. I would tremble at the thought of liking something and then never getting the same again. At least with concentrates and other ingredients you know what the end result will be (unless you make mixing errors.....voice of experience :p )

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Sorry for the delay in posting this, but here's my OCD thoughts on the buttons.

I can understand the logic in why the buttons were set up the way they were. Left is down or back and right is forward or up.

But in its normal upright position they are backwards to me. Bottom is up and top is down.

AHA! Ok, thanks. Now I get it! It's like a silly phone and camera orientation. I never know which way the pic is going to turn out.

DP get off your lazy bum and shoot them a message so you can get the replacement parts too :p

 :D :toast:

Hiya Acey. I've been an absentee, too. Being inundated in all things FDA (among other life dramas) has taken me away from ECF.

Good to see you (and all of you!)!

Finally all pieces of puzzle came together (till today i waited batteries). Now i must say i am really enjoying my 1st BB.
Combined with Sophia V2, it truly is pleasure to vape.

Now if i could just find to buy Boro tank somewhere, it would be even nicer...

I might be doing a small review on the gCeramic Coils if you all are interested in that. At this second I'm not the most happy with it. Hopefully I can get my hands on a second roo so I can do a blind test between a normal Kanger coil, gClapton coil, and the gCeramic using the same juice

I wasn't happy with them either. I tried them in my sub tank a few months ago. I felt like they don't wick well with high VG juices.

Does anyone have a list or tips on how to build an UNO at 1.5ohms, .8ohms, or .5ohms? I plan to use a 2.5mm coil jig and 28G kanthal. Honestly I'm looking for any good build tips. I saw Raqball's awesome instructions which I plan to follow, just wanted something a little lower resistance. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I think about 8 wraps should get you in the 1.5ohm range if your using a 2.5mm jig. And using a carto sized chamber it will be a nice warm vape. Going lower ohms than that will get pretty hot I think.

Thank you for responding. I'll try this out. I forgot to mention that I was going to be using the UNO in a R4 Billet. Would you know how many wraps .5 or .8 would take? Thanks again for responding.

I'm not a fan either. You should toss Kangers ceramics in that mix too. I haven't tried them yet. All in all, I think I've decided Kanger .5's are my new go to. They have .2's out now too, but I like .5's and their 1.2's best. Also, for whatever reason, I feel like im getting a better vape off the square OCC's. I could probably be fooled though. Be interested to here your thoughts.

I think that lower ohm equals cooler vape, hence why more wattage is needed. If you're up for it, a 2.5 mm vertical coil runs perfect in the UNO. That's been my favorite build on it.

A 5 wrap would get you right around .80 with 5mm legs. Going down to .50 I think you should use 26g wire as long as the Uno will handle wire that thick. 28g will be difficult to get a .50ohm coil as it would have to be very small. This would not be good for flavor or vapor production.

edit:

If you dont mind taking some pics I am interested in the Uno and I would like to see yours set up :)
