What about lowering your nic first, Raq? I've seen some success with that by a couple of family members. Just a thought.

Debs - I MISSED YOUR "4"??? Sorry about that. As you know, I've been a bit "consumed" (NOT healthy).

CONGRATULATIONS on your 1460+, and may there be MANY more. Be with with or without vape.

ps: You saw MFS' sale on nic, I take it? Pretty big savings, likely returning for Independence Day (hopefully).

Raq - keep up the good fights. And be careful out there (with the tri...).

I'm sure you're on top of that stuff, but I saw it and thought of you. So I figured I'd share. :)

Yeah most of the deaths are during the open water swim which is odd since that's the 1st leg of the 3 events..

A mile is a LONG way to swim and it's even harder and worse when it's open water because you also have to fight the current and waves.. I'm an okay swimmer but that is without a doubt going to be the toughest part for me.. If I don't drown or get eaten by a shark then I should be okay. My plan for the swim is slow and steady...

I am not competing to win or even to place. I am competing to finish the event with a good effort. If that means I finish 11 seconds ahead of the little old lady on a walker pulling an oxygen tank behind her then so be it! As long as I am happy with my effort is all I care about..

I'm not certain that I'd finish it driving a car. Cause for celebration? Uh, YEAH.

Go get 'em, Raq.

I am a little worried about the swim.. I still have not done a mile in the pool and the open water will be much harder. There also won't be anywhere like in a pool to stop and take a short rest (which I've been doing).. I only have 4 months to go and I need to seriously improve my swimming..

The cycling portion will be a breeze for me.. The 6.2 mile run will SUCK but I can mange that since I technically will be at a jogging pace (10-11 minute mile is my plan) but that swim has me worried..

Oh well.. I'm resolved to give it a go!

thanks darlin......and no worries. :) Jup saw the sale......am hoping to hit the July 4 ones. those tend to best or among the best of the year.

I think it's absolutely amazing that you're doing this! On the swim, of course you can tread water for a tiny rest if needed, or float a bit if it's not too choppy. But I know you'll be able to get that much improved in the next 4 months!! Wishing you the absolute best in it! So many our age couldn't even begin to do it!! I think I'm older than you, but you know what I mean.

Morning everyone and hope you all have a great Memorial Day.

Look what vape Mail came this morning. Thanks to @rudedog my Rev 3 collection is complete.

I still need inspiration for the driptip and button but here he is and a perfect colour match for my mentholeucalyptus eliquid.

I think maybe a red like the oring on the tank with a green pearl would be pretty funky.

Does this mean you have all the colors the BB's come in?

:D

Oh I think I can go cold turkey.. I almost didn't grab the rev 4 to vape but decided what's a vaoe or two? LOL

I drained the tank and it's back in hiding for now.. I'll consider it a brief lapse and see how it goes.. Even if I only lapse once a day eventually that will subside..

Problem is that's one of the times I really like to vape. After a bike ride, run or swim. The other tuffies are after dinner and in the morning with my coffee..

Oyoyoy, raq. You sure you don't wanna just lower the nic bit by bit then see how you do? It feels extreme to me, but I'm still rooting for you.

I would be more than pleased to speed over to you in my yacht, and give you a rest/time out on the veranda over a cuppa (insert your choice of beverage here). We could hang out and spy the seals, dance with the dolphins, and merge with the mantas. Hors d'ovevres are at 7pm, and the pool is open all nite.

I don't have a yacht.

It will come to me....... They normally choose themselves :p

All.....Except the red one. For some reason it has never taken my fancy and it doesn't go with the others in a set that I like. If I stumble across one I won't say no but it's not really on my list.

They change allot when they are on the device too, different shades kinda pop out.

You're a VIP
Vaper Instinctively Paranoid???

Ask the FDA if they can borrow some money from BT and get me one...

:glug:
That is a great idea! Would certainly be a much better use of their time and money! We could cruise around the world telling everyone how great vaping is!!
