Is it just me...orrrr...
They switched the fire button from right to left on the Rev-4?
it's just you!! They actually moved it from the front to the back so it just looks like it's on the other side

I'm still pretty bummed out about the black AWs don't fit in the rev 3 anymore. I only have 2 or 3 sets of them left, and they're kind of old. Even though I have a rev 4 it's always nice to try and keep a backup.

I ordered some new batteries, battery wraps, and a battery case that can hold 4 18650s. I got the doodoo brown LGs. 20 amp continuous with a 3000 mah battery life. I think that'll be help near the end of the day. I vape an extremely high amount of juice a day (that even my co workers can't believe it) so with these batteries I won't have to worry as much about batteries dying while I'm on the go

You wouldn't believe the hoops I've jumped through over those batteries. It's a lost cause.

The Imrens are fine.

A few tips for new F5'ers..

1. Already have an account set up
2. Have billing and shipping info already added to account
3. Make sure you are signed into the account before hand!
4. On the day of the sale go to the specific page for the color you want. This way you don't have to scan all the different BB colors as they are added. When the color you want is added, boom, it's right there in front of you to see.
5. Have credit card entered into Chrome auto fill. This way, once you are at the payment page all you have to do is enter the first letter of your name and chrome will auto fill the CC details.
6. Practice the checkout sequence a few times before the sale. There is at least one (that I can remember) check box that you must tick mark before you can proceed.
7. Start F5'ing like crazy about a minute before start time. F5, F5, F5 until the BB color you want shown in stock
8. As soon as it show as in stock, add it and go, go, go!

These never last long and are gone in a matter of seconds! Speed is of the essence! You will never get one if you don't already have account setup, credit card info saved and are familiar with the checkout process.

Also, make sure you are on a solid and fast internet connection..

I've scored 2 rev 4 so far and previously scored a few rev 3's playing the F5 game every time I tried for one.. Basically, I've never lost an F5 war yet.. If you follow the above you will have a very good chance of getting one. The last rev 4 I scored I made it through checkout in about 10 seconds. When I went back to the BB page the rev 4's were still showing in stock.

Stress will creep in so try and remain calm. One mistake and it's all over!

Good luck next week all! :D
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!:)

The Imrens are fine.

My hesitation there is that the guru himself, Sir Baditude, has already warned me away from IMREN.
Well, he didn't say it himself. We discussed it in a thread, in which a link was posted, to a website owned by someone capable of fully testing batteries. This person found that the IMREN 18650's are typically dangerously misquoted as far as capabilities.
They're listed as a 40a battery, but only perform at best, as a 15a battery. That's pretty huge in my book.

So, DP, I know you're a seasoned vet here in BBox land...and I know you haven't had any issues with them...but my brain. It hurts. My standards require me to condemn a whole brand when their claims have been proven false. Especially with potentially face-melting pipe bombs.

Ugh. I'm out of my comfort zone here. I just wanna slap an AW in my Provari and bury my head in the sand.

But you are not vaping a rev 3 at .05 ohms and @ 100 watts...

Sure battery safety is important but I think the red AW's are fine for the rev 3. If DPL and Kat say the Imrens are good that that's good enough for me..

I am all about battery safety but the battery can only be as safe as the person using it too..

I'll use my Imrens once they come and won't worry abot it.. Now if I was a sub ohmer, that might be different.

The rev 3 Billet Box won't be pushing any battery to it's limit unless you try and plop a low ohm coil in there..

Disclaimer: I am no battery expert.

Ask Lynn what he knows about the 16340's. I'm guessing not a lot. MANY people were making false claims with their 18650's, all in a similar manner. I am not condoning the action, as we must be educated consumers in the end.

Ultimately though, the amp limit won't really come into play with the Rev 3 BBs, so I'm OK with them. And after my experiences with AW, I simply refuse to give them a penny of mine. He should have made good on that which he did wrong in the first place. And "cavalier" doesn't work for me, which is precisely what his stand was.

Notice those batteries aren't moving out any longer? It means that he was WRONG too. The majority of users were clearly BB owners, and he abandoned us all.

Fuggem.

Try the blue IMREN batteries - The IMREN perform similar to the red AWs (mine fit perfectly in the BB) in that there is a notable drop in performance near the end, but they last longer than the red AWs.

I have a lot of respect (and faith) for our own most wonderful battery expert, Mr. Mooch. I've been somewhat following his findings, and if anyone is interested in his latest, you can see his work here. List of Battery Tests | E-Cigarette Forum

I've sent him a message asking specifically about these Imrens, and when I get some information, I'll be pleased to share it with all of you.

Ugh I'm so excited. I have two LG doodoo browns coming in the mail. It'll be nice to have some 3000 mah batteries since I end up changing out my batteries at least 3 times a day. I also ordered some battery wraps so I'm going to rewrap a couple of batteries of mine and some at work. I also get a radical battery case that'll hold 4 18650s

I use the 3000 mAh LG (doodoo brown) in my Rev. 4. It lasts me about 2 days with a 1.6 ohm BVC coil, vaped at around 13 watts. The same cell lasted about a day in a Provari Radius at identical settings. It seems that the DNA 40 consumes less power than Provari's chip.

I've been getting great mileage from the doodies since they were introduced, particularly with the DNA40 (as @AlphaGuitarist indicated). Very similar times, at very similar vapes (1.6 @ 11w).

Congrats, @LEGOMAN - we think you'll like 'em. :)
