I got the Billet Bridge Comfort (used with the Nautilus coils) and it appears that it's just slightly too long. I did manage to fit the boro tank into my 3.a after installing the bridge/coil combo, but had to apply a slight amount of pressure, similar to the amount of pressure applied to the black AW batteries to get them to click into their slots. To get the tank out, I had to slap it against the palm of my hand (again, similar to getting the black AW batteries out) and wiggle the tank out by pinching it on the sides with my thumb and index finger. Has anyone else had this issue?

Mine don't. It slips right in the Billet Box. Don't know about the New Billet Box.

Next time I change the coil, I'll check if the connections have been tightened correctly. It could be user error on my part!

How is the flavor of the comfort bridge versus the classic?

Both produce great flavor, although the Nautilus coils used with the Comfort bridge seem to produce bigger clouds. I don't prefer one over the other.

With the fact that the top tube of the Nautilus Bridge has to thread on, I found the Bridge needs to be assembled while in the tank.

Having just received my first BVC Bridge, my thoughts are: He|| no!
I do not like the press-fit top tube at all.
It's a mechanically weak connection, and I will only use it as a last resort.

So I will be ordering more Nautilus Bridges...because I plan to have at least two more boxes in my life...on top of the two I now own.
Caught this bug HARD folks.
I've got a fever, and the only cure is more Billet Box!

Addictive, aren't they? I honestly have no desire to use any of my other mods, as the Billet Boxes are simply perfect, especially the Rev. 4. I'm not even using my new Kayfun 5 that much, because I got the Billet Fever!

I know it may send the wrong image, but damn it I love how that looks.
Nostalgia for sure.
yeah, that's the only bad part, don't like the message it sends, but they are sooooo kewl! lol I had always meant to try those American Spirit smokes and never did......too late now, but I can live with that! Literally!!

Racing Bridges arrived yesterday! Hopefully, I'll have some time, today, to try them out. :)
kewl!! Hope you love them!

Here's this coming Saturday's stock update, directly from BBV's Facebook page:

"It's time for another stock update this Saturday. We'll have red, green, clear (silver), black, pink, and dark blue."

No orange!!! That's definitely a disappointment...although I wouldn't mind a red or a dark blue, the orange has always been my first choice. I'm actually considering dealing with my OCD and not selling my orange Rev. 4, despite the ding that it suffered when I dropped it. Decisions, decisions.

No DNA 25's.. Boo, double boo!

But.. This haz gotten me considering scrapping the rev 4 and just going rev 3 (once I score a clear rev 3a that is)....

[begin rant]

I hate you rev 4 boro! As a matter of fact hate is a kind word when describing my thoughts on the rev 4 boro..

I like everything about the rev 4 except the boro.. Have I mentioned how much I absolutely loathe the rev 4 boro? If not, well.... I do!

The rev 3 delrin tank is pure perfection! It's awesome and I lub them! The rev 4 boro? Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and @&%!#

Billet Box and DD please oh please make a delrin option for the rev 4... Pretty please????? :) ??????? :)

[end rant]

[begin rant 2]

If it were not for the much better battery life from the rev 4's I'd probably already have sold my silver / clear rev 4 and snagged another rev 3a..

I am considering it [shudder] but that's how much I dislike the rev 4 boro tank...

And now, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

[end rant 2]

For now I am back to using the Rat Black rev 3a....

Weeeeeeeelp. I must say that even tho I use the B Bridge classic (?) with the BVCs, I HAVE noticed (with great disdain) that it is MUCH more difficult to fit them in the Boro in the Rev4 than the Rev3.

racing bridge reviewed on my rev4:

package came from another country faster than I get packages continentally. crazy fast shipping from Greece.

machining quality is flawless as I would expect.

ordered two rba decks and they happen to arrive with the bridge the same day. I have ridiculous vapemail luck.

gave the prebuilt .5 coil a shot with some organic cotton and it vaped great. airy draw, even when I put a pretty fat o-ring over the holes.

wicks fine, minimal spitback vaping between 13-17 watts. no flooding even when the tank got low (SCORE!).

flavor was better when I threw my own .8ohm microcoil in it (MAKE SURE TO TRIM YOUR LEADS SUPER CLOSE!)

cheers.

Got the Rev-2 stripped down, and thoroughly cleaned (she was a very dirty bird). Got her back up and running, and she's happy as a clam!

My Rat has a girlfriend!
00c0ecb3204a034ea0b9780443f2558e.jpg

She's had a rough life (her previous owner apparently had butter fingers), but he sees her for what she can, and will be.
Cuz, for those of you who only know me from this thread, well...lets just say I've got a personal vendetta against the "status quo".
She won't look like this when I'm done with her!

Any reason to fear getting bad/clone batteries from RTD?

I'm gonna place my order for some reds and blacks, but I also wanna order some LGHG2's (doodoo brown 3000mAh)...
I'm assuming RTD has a upstanding and long-standing reputation?

I've never had an issue with RTD. They are VERY reputable!

Agreed! Excellent vendor...

@raqball - FUNNY!!!!!! :D

I'm finally "OK" with the boro (how many years did it take????), but yes, given a preference... (delrin rocks!).

And I still use my other mods too. If I had to pick JUST ONE, for all of eternity, it would absolutely be a BB (all around versatility, and meets my vaping needs perfectly), but as for never using my other stuff? Mmmmm....yeah-no (as Kat says).

@HBcorpse - that "mechanically weak connection" has never once missed a fire, in.... 3-4 years now (I've run as many as four Bridges at a time too). It's fine, IF you like the coils. If not, it's marvelous that there are options now.

I happen to be thrilled that the way-back original still meets my preferences. I truly feel fortunate for that. Simple & easy works for me (as the rest of the things that surround my life are often anything but).

:vapor:< one HAPPY vaper!!!

I was so happy when Brett made the Kangaroo as I hated the bvc coils. I tried to love my siluro but i could never get it wicking properly. I have the racing bridge since I started aqcuiring r4's and have the comfort bridge and am awaiting the delivery of both the Nautilus RBA deck to see if it works as well as an Uno from Brett. This way I will have all the rebuildable options for the BB as it truly is my favorite mod not that I do not have to fuss with a gaggle of 16340 batteries in my pockets lol.
