Mechs are interesting beasts. I have a few but my required top fire button limited my options to poldiac's and bod mecha's I vape everything at the same power levels so I just set and forget a kick and off I go. Although they don't get used as much hand time as they used to. I expect my Rev 3's and my provari's to see me through any foreseeable circumstance.

I don't remember if I ever posted this. I was surprised with this homemade Father's Day gift my kids made for me. It really broke me down since I'm unable to do the things I want to do with them. I hope and pray everyday for the strength to continue on being the best that I can be.
Thank you everyone here. I consider you all my family and friends. I do hope my disability case goes through soon. It's been almost 3yrs. Gone thru 1st decision, 2nd decision w/disability lawyer, and lawyer filed for disability trial hearing. Been waiting now for the disability trial date almost 1 1/2 years.

I don't have a problem with the FDA trying to protect children and I don't have a problem with the FDA saying you must be 18 to buy vape products but this notion that the government has to protect adults from ourselves is lunacy..

I served in the military and even served in 2 combat zones during my time in. After that I had a career that continually put me in harms way.. I don't need the FDA to protect me from myself. I am educated and can decide what's good or bad for myself. When I smoked, I knew it was bad for me and I made the decision to continue to do it. I don't see the FDA effectively banning cigarettes. While I am not 100% sure that vaping is safe, I do know that's it's much, much, much safer than smoking...

The whole thing is just odd.. How many people die a year from cigarette use? How many people die a year from alcohol use? How many people die a year from vaping? The numbers and / or percentages are probably staggering..

What's next? Bacon? Will the government decide that bacon is bad for me and decide that I need to be protected from it?

Meh.... Hopefully the FDA gets all this shoved up their rear end...

I've never been able to understand why these are dragged out for so long. {{{HUGS}}}

To deter people and get them to back off from asking for the assistance they are entitled too (Standard process is to deny at least twice, if not three times before being approved via court) . . . SO BEEN THERE - Got through the process on the first appeal and even help others before and after the fact without getting lawyers and the court involved . . . Just Sayin' . . . :censored: :censored: :censored:

That's what I know for a fact so far.

Can "You" get someone else to send to you to avoid being subjugated to these unreasonable add ons ? ? ? Hey, Remember I use to live up there and still have "friends" . . . ;)

Shut-up, Kat.

NOW - NOW - "You" are actually asking for trouble aren't Ya' . . .

IMO - It's not just them . . . It's all the Nazi-esk ANTI-Smoking Zealots who are pushing for this . . . Worse is those self-righteous ex-smokers who feel as though - if I can stop in one day (even if it was with a Censation product from the Pharmaceutical/BT companies) so can you. . . Just Sayin' . . . :-x :-x :-x :censored: :censored: :censored:

The place I work banned smoking, as well as vaping, on their property about 2 years ago.

Well if Ya' think that is bad, Move to Florida where the legislature pass a law that allows Landlords/Condo-CoOp Boards/Home Owners Associations to ban smoking and E-cigarettes use/Vaping in their Apartments/People's Homes and on their property and force people to go outside & off property to smoke/vape . . . Which was actually done where I live 2-3 years ago when the Anti-smoking group that got involved here insisted that Management include banning of "E-Cig" use in apartments/property in the New House Rules . . .   :-x :-x :-x :censored: :censored: :censored:

Thanks Uncle! I've had a couple people offer already. :) I think if I find I can't get what I want, I might be able to get a mail drop at a UPS store or something in a nearby state. :) Luckily I am close to DE, MD and NJ, and VA if it goes that far.

#2 son is of the opinion I should have quit cold turkey like he did. He is about half my age, and never did smoke more than about a half a pack (if that) per day. And he smoked those clove cigs, so not sure how they would compare to Winston/Marlboro??

Honestly, I don't see how ANYONE can tell you what you can and cannot do in your own home. Especially if you have already signed a lease without any such restriction. I realize the property belongs to the landlord, but it just doesn't sound right to me. Sorta the same as whittling away retirement benefits after the fact - :censored: that!! Should be illegal!

Well I got a message back from BBV today and this was the response ( Thanks for your message! You're totally fine to get multiple BBs :) ) I guess that means that if I want to, I could order 4 Rev3As tomorrow :) I don't think I will, but I could.

Actually, I didn't think they could either . . . However, as I have learned since - if any State Legislature has provided a law or the Federal Government has provided the regulation to back them up - any "LANDLORD"/"Board" can ban both smoking/"E-cig" use in people's apartment and/or on the property . . . Also, since I rent an apartment in a Senior Housing Complex were the lease HAS to be renewed every year and every time the the "House Rules" are updated you have no choice but to sign that you have received and will follow them - If Ya' don't, they will try to evict you and/or refuse to renew your lease when it is up for renewal . . . BTW: if Ya' only knew what else they ban "You" from doing in your apartment (No Burning of candles/incense, No Holiday Light/Decorations out side your windows, No Guest (individual person) staying over more then 14 days in a calendar year and they MUST be signed in with the Management office, etc. I could go on but I think I'll stop here.) . . . And now I know why I want to live on a remote island where I can make my own rules.

Ps. Electricity is a requirement and they must still deliver vapemail :p

Utopia
Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to l........

Something tells me that the Rev 3's might kick it around for awhile. They're pretty tough cookies. The 4 may too, but I've not put it through similar stress tests.

My "mechs" all say Provari on them. No-can-do unregulated vaping. Tried it, failed it.

Shut-up, Kat.

OH wow,,, you HEARD me all the way from THERE??

Slightly different goals, Kh, but same reason. I learned (from mechs) that I absolutely require a mod with regulated & controllable output. Variable is essential, while Voltage or Wattage is almost irrelevant (for me).

I love the way many of them look, but I find the actual vaping experience to be less than fully satisfying. I need to be able to dial into exactly what I'm looking for at that moment.

Some Provis are now are $40 shipped, so I grabbed enough of those to carry me. And don't underestimate the longevity of the BB Rev 3s. They're built like brick houses. Being that I've also got a few of those, I'm taking the chance that I'll never need a mech.

I won't buy any more, and I won't put them into my family's hands. They can be dangerous if someone lacks the knowledge associated with proper use. My entire family (just about) vapes, but I am the only "Vaper" (if that makes sense).

Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk

Makes perfect sense. I've identified vapers (those of us who tag along all over ECF) and differentiate them from what I term "e cig users". And there is a vast difference.

I have zero desire for a mech. Like you, I completely enjoy the satisfaction of a regulated power mod. And I appreciate the built in safeties, too.

I have many of those same "mech" Provaris, and several B Boxes that I anticipate will also be workhorses for the long haul.

Makes complete sense. I did sell off my rev3s and am desperately hoping the DNA 40 holds the test of time. I know it won't, but hope springs eternal. Like you, I have a Provari and may grab some of the others at the reduced price point!

Do eet! And should the winds of change blow gently in your direction, perhaps you'll reconsider and get another Rev3. They are truly da bomb.

(I know...... I shouldn't use that term with vaping, right?)

Welcome to the land of the "free".

I'm sure glad an untold number of people fought and died so we could have all this "freedom" we're enjoying in present day America!

:(

What's next? Bacon? Will the government decide that bacon is bad for me and decide that I need to be protected from it?

My guess? Sugar. Sugar will be the next regulated "tobacco" product.

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brace yourself, Bamz....

S'PORE POLICE RAIDED & RANSACKED MY HOME FOR ILLEGAL VAPING

Ps. Electricity is a requirement

Electricity is my god.

Well I just ordered 1 Elbarto, and 1 Glaucus, also 1 black Boro, the site would only let me order one boro. That is okay though, I do have one spare boro tank. This is the first time I have tried to order more than 1 BB at a time, it felt weird, and expensive. :)
