I am not sure why Evolv even bothered with the small screen on the DNA25. To make it worse it is permanently attached to the board, unlike the DNA40/75/200.
I do understand that BB wants to simplify their tooling and by moving to the large screen will help when having to service them in the future (small screens have been hard to get). Maybe this will make a niche market for the aftermarket guys who can make new plates to switch from small to large screen on the original r4's
Good news, I was able to snag a RPG today!!!!
I think what everyone needs to know, is that Evolv is no longer producing the small screen 40. So....BB didn't have much of a choice. I'm pretty sure the 25 will keep in production, but not sure how long. So the big screen 40 is it. That's the only chip the BB can fit. It won't fit a 75, it won't fit a 200.....But evolv will probably come out with another small footprint board for everyone. With a little modding, the Boro runs GREAT with the dna 75! Not sure how you are getting a DNA75 in a BB...... I set a new DNA75 on top of a BB r4 to see.

Nope you might be talking about a DNA 75 but Im talking about the DNA 60, new board same size as a dna 40.
Doubt there is room for a USB in the Billet box so no go for Escribe unless Doug does some magic

For a month I was vaping 24mg at .5 ohms I'd love to be able to drop to 6ml like I see other folk say so my nic will last longer. But am thrilled I got down to 18 at least.

Wow. Thank you sir! I've been modding my own "BB's" with lipos, Borotanks, DNA 40/75's and pass thru 1 amp Evolv USB boards for the 40's. The 60 is the real game changer here....the 75 is bull.... to me now....it almost ALMOST makes me a little upset.
At the same time though, with the reg's, all of these manufacturers are trying to get stuff out, so I can extend some understanding.

The current BB size CANNOT support an 18650; Boro; DNA; and USB.
I've been able to squeeze together mods very close in size w/ DNA 40, 1 amp charge board, BORO, and ~1600mah 60C lipos.
So I think it's going to need to go lipo for the BB size if it uses USB, but the biggest mah's and Amp's will be limited to around 1000-1500 MAX at ~30 amps. Say bye bye to removing your battery.
I don't think the BB can be bigger...IMO. It would ruin it big time for me. If size is important, please trust me, the 60 w/ USB wont work with power that would last more than an hour or two.
With a G-box, I can squeeze a 75, 2500mah at 60 amps CC, and a Boro easily. G-boxes are pretty nice in the hand. I think this opens the market to people that want to utilize the BB platform in other shapes/sizes

I hope everyone that wanted to get one today was able to. It was nice seeing the update to the large screen. Now maybe our next revision to a DNA60 we'll just have to wait and see. I still need a Billet Racing or UNO for my BB4 and a spare boro or two just to be on the safe side. Now everyone have a good day of rest before the start to another week.

Snapped up an Uno yesterday! I could never get the In'ax carto to work so I gave up on it! Guess I'm gonna post it on the classies soon.
Any tips that I should know about the Uno? I've rebuilt hundreds of the older Kanger Protank coils when I started vaping, it looks like that's EXACTLY how you build on it! I've got PLENTY of 30 and 32 gauge kanthal from my Protank days. I'm looking for the usual 2-2.5 ohm coil for it. Anything special I need to know about how to wick it? It looks like it would be easy to leak if not wicked properly.
So if anyone's using it, let me know!

MFS will occasionally have them at 50% off (I think?), but with a limit of 2x5 packs per order. You CAN order several different types at once, so I can pick up a couple packs of BVCs, Protanks, Subtanks, etc., all at once.

Heaven gifts have them for $8 per pack. Their 25% off anniversary sale beings them down further. I dint know what price you are buying them for in the states but that good for what I am seeing over here. Shipping is either slow or expensive though.
Beyond vapes and kumiho had rebadged aspire factory built coils so I look for them as well.
Discount Vapers has them for $7.99, and I trust those guys implicitly.
