That's the place! :) I actually don't use any covers on my BB's. The anodized ones are pretty much bulletproof. I would like to maybe make a cover for my v1.0 BB, since the nekkid aluminum can mar so easily. Fortunately (sorta), I have a leather jacket that was murdered by EMT's (cut through the zipper, FFS!) that has been waiting around for repurposing.

Well I just must be hard on mine then, because 2 of my anodized BB's are all scratched up, I like the leather sleeves posted above. I just don't have $80.00 to spend on them. I don't really have any leather lying around to try to make one with, or I would give it a try. I have thought about making one with old blue jeans though, I have lots of that.

In my experience, the Exocet does not fit quite right in the Rev3 Boro tank.

It seems like the Rev3 Boro tank bottom hole is not dead center like the Rev4 Boro tank...also, I was barely able to slide the glass over the Exocet when it was in my Rev3 tank...did not feel good, and I would recommend against it, based on my experience using that combination.

I think the name of the gold BBox was El Barto...

I was using the Sophia V1 in my Rev 3's a long time ago, and they do work. I did have problems with the juice control getting stuck, I never tried the V2. I do have that kit and the little brass nut was useful, because the long tube or one of his drip tips will slide threw it. I did use the whole kit, but I don't think the thin brass strip really made much of a difference.

The Sophia BBox kit will work with Rev3 only, as the Rev4 drip tip adapter/nut is a different thread.

The brass sheet material is required, since the BBox is a negative circuit (or some wizardry)...where the atomizer completes the circuit by being grounded to the box...for the Sophia (v1/v2) the brass strip completes the circuit.

I could be wrong, but I really think I'm remembering correctly.

You can use Sophia v1/v2 with this kit in the Rev3 with no problem. Done it myself.

I do not recall a Rev4 kit update, although I never looked into it.

It does work without the thin brass strip, I was using the Sophia in it before the kit came out. the problem of not using it is that the negative connection is going threw the juice control, which is kind of loose, and sometimes will lose contact. In the end I gave up on it, just too much fiddling.
