Thanks dude! I've had a few Bolts in the past and I always end up selling them to try something different, but I like them. Bolts rock. The Bolt was my first real mod after the little Egos. Now, with the two extensions and Kick, it's like a whole new experience.
Definitely my next mod once my poor eGo runs through its accelerated lifespan. Seems like the best next-step for a beginning vaper.
It is a nice next-step but keep your options open because depending on who YOU are... Your going to crave a lot if you continue to keep your sights on new mods. You'll change your mind on a weekly, daily, or hourly basis when your thinking about mods frequently. If you WANT something that the Bolt is NOT, and then you buy the Bolt, you may always wish you bought that other mod. That is what happened to me. Now that I have everything I wanted, I want more Bolts!! LOL

I absolutely LOVE my Bolt. I really dig the look and feel of it so much is not only makes me want to get more of them, but also makes me want to get stuff like the bullet to compare it against.
Bolts (the metal ones) on sale - clearance right now at VapingXtreme for $20. That's where I got mine. Pic on site looks like they are anodized ones but my (black) one was the textured one, which I actually like better.
niceee. I wonder if the "Gray" is actually the anodized slate... I want the burgandy looking one. But if it shipped to me and it turned out to be bright brick red I'd be .......
I bought a second Bolt from there - red, and it is indeed the textured fire engine red one
I think you can get the burgundy from Madvapes though.
I got the "Grey" Bolt from there and it's not the anodized slate grey/silver they show in the photo. It's like my black textured Bolt but a greyish white.
I just got my gunmetal bolt with gunmetal artemas tank and to top it all off a gunmetal drip tip... Lovin the bolt
How are you liking that gun metal Artemas tank? Is it the same diameter as the Bolt? Does it leak at all?
Also, pics or it didn't happen....
I posted this in the modders section but haven't gotten much of a response so I thought I would give it a go here. Any thoughts and suggestions will be appreciated. In the mean time I will read through this thread.
I got a Bolt as a PIF so no warranty. When I first got it it worked only intermittently and then quit completely. I read up on it and found out it was a common problem because of the small wire and it was a relatively easy fix by replacing the wiring. I used 22 gauge solid (unstranded) wire and made sure the button was working before putting it together. I did check the grommet at the connector and it had torn so I replaced it. I took a few puffs and all was good so I went ahead and hot glued the innards in place.
After just a few more puffs it quit completely again. I took it all apart and before repairing again I retested the button. Now the button is dead. I ordered 2 more buttons like the one it came with (the black horn button from Mad Vapes). I put it back together with the new button and it worked and died again and button is dead again. I did not hot glue it that time. Got some new wire, 22 gauge stranded, and put it together again and tested again. Now I notice that the tube is a lot warmer than I felt before after 4 or 5 puffs. I took the battery out and it is warm, not hot. I waited a little while, put the battery back in and took a few more puffs. Getting warm again. I do not want to use it at this point.
At this point the button still seems good, the grommet appears to be seated right, the solder joints look fine, spring looks fine.
The battery is a Smok icr18500 1500mah charged to 4.10 volts.

Yes it sounds like the battery I know CCV sells just the switch for $9 but it only comes in black and u need to email them and they will set u up.
