Ok, as a government worker I normally stay in my one building and stick to the same hallways and ect. So everyone who knows I vape aren't surprised at all when I use my Chuck. Although I was taking a trip to a government agency headquarters and under a routine inspection of me and my vehicle they noticed my chuck... well let me explain to you the problem with the chuck, it looks EXACTLY like a homemade detonator... so you can imagine the shocking and frightening looks I got from all the guards. lol Anyway they asked what it is, I told them and quickly put it up to my mouth and pressed the button, might I add as I pressed the button a guard shielded his face as to protect himself from a bomb detonation lol and blew out some vapor. A few guards told me about what they thought it was initially and I never thought about it like that before. I took 5 min to tell them about it and gave them this website. Very funny and entertaining in my opinion. lol

Very true. Well I always have my lanyard on with my multiple ID's on display so its no question as they knew I worked for the Agency, but still they were very scared. lol I didn't think they would shoot me but a nice tackle or clothesline is what I thought I was going to get real soon if I didn't clear things up. lol

Off of the PV topic, but to show you how lucky you are.....

On my truck, I rigged up a home made Lo-Jack, basically a cell phone that transmits it's GPS signal every 5 seconds. I permanently attached it inside my front bumper, and to protect the cell phone from the elements, I placed it inside a 3" PVC pipe with insulation. This pipe was capped on both sides, and had 2 wires running from one end to the fuse box under the hood, where I had it attached for a power source... Basically I could go online and at anytime, track where my truck was, if it was in motion how fast it was going, look at past trips and the speeds, etc... It's actually saved me from 2 speeding violations that I was falsely accused of..

N-E-Way. I was going into an Army base outside of town (was sent there to do some computer work) and sure enough, my vehicle got picked to do a random sweep. A guard found the wires running to the front bumper, and when he climbed underneath my truck to look where they went, well guess what he found.... I was immediately detained, no questions asked, and was in holding for 2 hours before they finally came and talked to me, with the pipe and cell phone in hand... Scariest 2 hours of my life, b/c I hadn't been paying attention when they were searching my truck. I didn't know what they had found....

This was a big problem for me too. I can’t stand using something that looks like an IED (Improvised Explosive Device). I went nuts looking for one that does not look sinister. I found that a lot of “Commercial Mods” look just like IEDs.

Looks like an IED? The whole point of an IED is that you don't know what they are going to look like. They are purposely made to look like everyday objects. You know, the whole "improvised" part of "improvised explosive device".
