Almost bought one today! Then I remembered I hate using adapters, or atomizers for that matter. When can I get a BUZZ with a native kr808d-1 connection?
Well I just modded mine to work with the 808 cartomizers from ecig Supply ( not sure of the model number )
I drilled a small hole in the side of the 901 connector and it works !
I was thinking about doing that, but I don't want to mark up my wonderful buzz. how many holes did you put in it? and if I booger it up, how much will it cost to get it fixed?

That sounds GREAT! I'm half-tempted to ask if you'll let me special order one!
How does it perform? as well/better than with a standard KR8 battery? I've heard a lot of talk about "air-flow" recently... This will be my first battery MOD. I havn't spent this kind of money on an e-cig before, and just want to make sure i'll be happy with it.

I drilled 1 - 0.046" hole in the bottom thread of the connector , I had to file a small flat in the thread and then center punched it ( So the drill does not slip )
I did this with the connector disassembled ! , ( removed the top connector and the internal parts , 3 parts ) then I had to drill a small hole from the top through the delrin spacer on the top side to the side hole to create an airflow path .
I am going to talk to my local machine shop about modifying 25 or so .
I dont suggest you trying this UNLESS you are good with drills etc. it is really easy to scratch the brass .
If you screw it up ( the top connector ) I can rebuild it for $25 or so !![]()
It's been so long since I used a standard KR808 battery I can't remember what it was like. I have had no issues with air draw on the Buzz. Of course I don't use a regular 901 atty so everything I do use requires an adapter. I have no problem with using adapters, doesn't bother me in the least. If you don't use adapters you are limiting yourself and missing out on all the wonderful things you can do with a Buzz. One device to run it all
Ok, we're going to pass on that!!!!! I got a new 901-808 adapter and I'm perfectly fine with it! I will leave my Buzz the way it is. If it ain't broke don't fix it
Thanks Mike!!!
I have them , the ones I have right now are long , I have some shorties coming this week I hope ?WW:
Where'd you get your 901-808 adapter from?

ok, I'm pretty good with drills, but with a drill bit that small, poo happens, and I hate the thought of a nasty marked up buzz.
Check your PM's Witchway

I have not tried the 808 connector with an atomizer yet SO I do not know if it will screw up using atomizers .
Well the 808 connector seems to work fine with a 901 atomizer !
