If you have a blank screen after turning it ON and choosing a setting then either the batteries are DEAD or there are none in it ????

Or it is just dead ! , try it on OHMS for testing an atomizer if there is nothing on the display check the batteries etc.
When on the ohms setting it should read 0 when the leads are touched together .

I think my volmeter must be dead, as the batteries are fine and the screen doesn't even flash when I tried the OHMS test. I'll pick up a new one tomorrow from Radio Shack.

Buzz, with your voltmeter adapter, I simply screw the cap end of the adaptor onto the 901 thread and then put each of the alligator clips on the voltmeter's probes, correct? The alligator clips are attached to a green wire and a white wire each. Does it matter which clip attaches to which probe?

Ok I made the DRIPPER available online .

$14.95 , ( I gotta pay myself LOL )

I dont have any velcro dots ( for attaching it ) right now I will get them ASAP
On order !

I have a question on the dripper. I'm going to try it on a 901 atty I took from hubby. What I'm really wanting to do is to put a hole in the side of a 302 atty, put the tube through it and still be able to keep using my T-tip as a mouth piece. Any reason that wouldn't work? Thought I'd ask before I put holes in my attys :)

Happy Vaping!! :toast:

Buzz, maybe I missed it somewhere, but did you actually design the board in this mod? Do you have an electronics background. I think maybe you said you're making them yourself. I'm not knocking anything. I'm just really curious about how you came up with it or if you had help. I'm sure when it's all said and done it's really fairly simple stuff, but I'm wondering how it started and progressed.

Thanks, I bought a new multimeter from Home Depot today and it works perfectly. Now I can really play with the Buzz. Thanks to everyone for all the help.

Bear : I did the complete design, PCB , mechanical etc. , I have a electromechanical background .
I worked for years in R&D @ Nasa JPL , Hughes Research labs etc.

I currently own a FIber Optics company Fiber optic Polisher , we make Fiber optic polishers and test equipment , I did all of the design on those products as well .

Just so you have an idea of our background , Nanometer Technologies will be taking over this product line very soon ( I have been making them myself up till now ) We have a complete QC process and all you need for a MFG company as well as support and sales .

Actually getting everything to fit in that small of a space was the hard part , alignment of all of the parts in the tube and the holes was a ..... ( It still gives me problems ! )

Hmmm is Nanometer Tech. a company of yours or does this mean you're having an outside company do the manufacturing for you?

*lurking and still being tempted by the Buzz, but havent taken the first step yet*
:D

You're gonna do it Jay, ya know you are ;) I found the Buzz thread when it was brand new and followed it every day. By the time the Buzz went up for sale I knew I was getting one. There are stages you have to go through before you click that checkout button. When you are ready you'll do it :toast:

Nanometer Technologies is my company ( we have been in the MFG business for 15 years )

I started into the E-cigs because I was not satisfied with what was available out there .

SO I decided to make what I wanted and what everybody was asking for CONTROL ! :toast:

What do they say ?? " necessity is the mother of invention "

And now I can't believe the buzz doesn't have a fiber-optic communication system that will link to a PC Program and tell you exactly how many mg of nic you're getting and the chemical breakdown of the fluid being vaped is. Geeze. At least a way for it to connect to an iPhone to report voltage, the flavor you're using, nic levels, etc.. isn't there an app for that?!

TOO much stuff ! ,

I hear that Cisco and his guys are making a PIC ( a computer chip ) based unit soon that will do that !

I prefer to keep it as simple as possible , less chance of component failure that way ( rule #? in design )

Hey maybe BLUETOOTH ????? and report the voltage to your phone ??
