first of all let me say i love this forum.
after almost 2 years of being here this
site has been an ongoing learning experience
and source of inspiration for me.

now with out further ado i will share with you
my findings concerning children,society and regulation.
the research has been long and exhausting.
spanning the entire reach of the interwebs.
many an hours away from my bar stool perusing
all the relevant studies and opinions of the leading experts
in the field.

now for your approval.

We clearly need to see all the atomizers labelled with "Small parts...not for children under...um..18"? Like all the other stuff we need to warn consumers about. People need protection from these dangerous products!!

My 10 year old son knows more about li-on batteries, series/paralell,and basic electrical theory than some vapers here on ECF.
He's happy dad stopped smoking, and finds the mechanics of the devices interesting.
He doesn't touch them, just like he doesn't touch kitchen knives or hot pans.

Thanks to anti vaping adds on TV, we had to have a long discussion about e cigs.

I know, I know, those ads are there to protect......The children.

The wife and I have vaped around our kids at home, in the car, etc. for 5 years now and the kids never cared. They are just happy we quit smoking. The bonus is they never get sick anymore, whereas before we started vaping they were always bringing home some kind of crud every other week from school. IMHO I think it's from the antimicrobial/antiseptic properties of the PG. If it's good enough to put in hospital air fresheners, It's good enough for my house.

Reminds me of a commercial I saw on TV the other day for a medication. I don't remember the exact product, but when they were saying the possible side effects, they said " XXX is not not for children under the age of 6 and should not be given to children between the ages of 6 and 17." Why not just say not for kids under the age of 17 or should not be given???

if it would fit in a shot glass I kept it locked up until mine were old enough to go to college.

adding especially fluid that could fit in a shot glass..meaning my good vodka (for cleaning tanks/coils of course)

it just never ends with kids..and they're part of our lives so I sure hope folks take responsibility for things that could harm them in their home. But it's not feasible to do that with vape gear..so personal responsibility is the key (imagine that)

i haven't kept score but,as far as vaping is concerned my count
is 0 to 0 as far as children's lives saved or lost.
due to my 5th amendment rights and my lawyers advice
i can neither confirm nor deny any actions i have taken
against kittens. sorry.

This is so unbelievably funny and extremely sad at the same time. Why is it the some people can't see pass their nose on issues and try to see both sides or at least the whole picture when that phase is said. Man its like when the phase For the Children is said a switch in their brains shuts down the reason center. Wonder if you can test for the "For the Children" gene? Sigh it amazes me that the anti vaping party / For the Children crowd doesn't realized the amount of money time etc... taking away from the real bad guy Big T by focusing on us vapers, where by us stopping smoking tobacco we are help the the children. Hmm maybe we need a slogan like I Vape For the Children, or I Quit tobacco For the Children. I think the term "children" encompasses too large a range of young people and its usage therefore is highly abused.

I think that in a country where genital mutilation of newborns is widely accepted and practiced, at parent's discretion, it looks hypocritical and out of proportions that the government would be interested in overseeing food flavor sticks that adolescents occasionally use at parties.
