Argh! I just pulled a stretchy! I dropped a provari on the floor and the carto broke off but the threaded part is still in there. Okay, hubby is going to have to help fix this one. He's gotta have something in his tool chest to get this out. Maybe one of those screw thing-a-ma-jigies you use to get screws out when the head snaps off...

you can never have too many guitars or guns. I have 4 guitars, a bass, mandolin and a banjo. Need to sell the banjo. I never learned how to play that thing.

Okay, to be perfectly fair he only has 7 guitars. One of the 8 is a bass.

I won't even tell you how many guns are in this house.

I like Violins.Not as much as guns or Provari's but I do like them.

I have one guitar and my violin. When my family is awful I practice my violin. Torture time! hehehe.

I don't think I have ever counted our guns. Mr. V is adding..... I like guns.

I play the Clarinet. Not well. I'm no Woody Herman but I can play a pretty mean Woodchoppers Ball.
You young people have no idea who I'm talking about....

The posse band! Too funny. Mr. V calls it my "screechy". I am awful, but I keep trying.

Then you do know who Woody Herman is.

I played clarinet all through middle and high school. Not the manliest instrument but you do get to sit by all the flute players.

But you know what. I think the French Horn makes beautiful music. I love the French Horn.

I was the dorky kid with the french horn. The skinny kid you saw lugging an instrument case that was bigger than her. Mom picked it out. Thanks Mom.

When my kids wanted to join band I made them play percussion. There is nothing worse than a screeching horn. It's akin to nails on a chalk board. I didn't mind the beat of a drum or the clash of cymbals.No reed instruments permitted.

Aren't moms great? I played the flute because my sisters played flute, clarinet and violin before me. The flute was the only one my parents thought they could live with through another round of beginner practice sessions!
