Down the rabbit hole..
all right Miss Sallie...the secret to keeping attys going a long time is to keep them wet and don't let them get excessively hot...
as in if you can't put your lips on them they are too hot...
when I drip....I drip 2-3 drops at a time...
when I get an atty I drip 4 drops and let it sit a couple of minutes before I fire it...
if you do flood it...take it off and blow excess out...

Down the rabbit hole..
oh and I would buy a 3.5 and a Lv1.8 or 2....start the 1.8 or 2.0 @ 4.2v
and the 3.5 @ 5v

I always recommend to new people to remove their drip tip and vape without it for awhile to be able to feel the heat of the atty
once you're vaping consistently without overheating the atty...put drip tip back on...

Do want :) Will PM. Thanks!

So what do you recommend as far as Carto's go? Are there any that don't leak? (every time i see a cool new one, i search for it on ECF, and invariably there will be a thread about them leaking :( )

WAIT! STOP THE TRAIN! LoL. I'll gladly take them off their ride to trashville....

PMing now. Thanks so much! :)

I like the dual cartos. Right now my husband is using the clear 1.5ohms and as long as I don't touch them after I fill them they don't break. I just ordered some 2.0 and 2.5ohms in clear, so I'll report back on those when I've had a chance to try them if you like. As I just mentioned, I've also been using the Boge 3.0ohm. They're "ok" on my eGo, but I'm anxious to give them a try at different voltages.

The fluxomisers didn't leak. In fact I think they may have actually made them leak proof. Just not Sallie proof. I'm packing them up for you now. I hope you have better luck with them than I did and Enjoy!

Thanks VV. I have a feeling this is not going to go well...

Now THERE is some GREAT advice. I might actually have a fighting chance with that last tip. :)

FV, are you gonna be stocking any 2.5ohm 901's at some point?

And Sallie, maybe I just picked up quick, but I've never popped an atty. I buy primerless ones (Cisco, IKV, etc.), so before my first vape, I drip 9-10 drops, let it sit 15-20 minutes, and then vape a little, and then drip 3 more drops. For ones with primer, I can't really help there. I usually vape until the flavor starts to drop, or until it starts to taste like burning atty (which you should avoid letting it go that far...and if you do just try to notice as soon as you can). After that, usually anywhere from 2-4 drops is sufficient for my 901, some attys are different though, so you'll have to experiment. 2-3 is usually the sweet spot for dripping. You'll eventually catch on and learn the joys of attys. I usually buy the premium ones that are $8+ each, but I've heard that the genuine Joye/DSE/etc. ones work just as good. Hope that helped at least a little. :)

EDIT: Oh, and if you hear excessive gurgling or are getting little vapor and poor flavor, it's probably flooded. Just take a paper towel or napkin and blow it out, wipe it off and screw it back on. Sometimes there's still enough in there for a few vapes, other times you'll need to redrip.

Bishy, I need to get over the trauma of this shipment first! I will carry more items, but had to spend my money on the most common items first. I'll let you know when I place the next order.

Okay, take your time. I still have 2 brand new ones, a few ones I need to clean and 1 I just cracked open. So I'll be fine for a little while.

You know, smoking cigarettes was never like this. The sharing is incredible- knowledge, ideas, stuff. I love vaping!

Maybe one day they'll invent something like those cool pens that have multiple colors of ink in them...except a PV with multiple joose feeders so you have lots of choices all in one. That'd be pretty neat.
