Any mysterious spiders this morning? *chuckles*

Good Morning Posse!

Aw James, I hate that it's still Monday for you. Can you get sick and just go home? Maybe playing hooky for day would help. Don't freak on Charli, ask Mrs E to make her some oatmeal and see if that helps. Or plain rice if she will eat that. Being a pup, she might have eaten something disagreeable. Victor does that. Bugs, acorns, anything that doesn't eat him first is fair game. If she's still sick tomorrow take her in.

That's all I've got, first cup of coffee and all. But my car let me sleep last night! Popping the hood did the trick. Or the wind died down. Either way, she was quiet all night, and I am grateful.

Now off to shower and get ready for work. Need to get in and out of the shower before Mr. V realizes that I am in there....

Sorry to hear that James... some days it just doesn't pay to wake up! :(

On the other hand I have had some days that started like that and ended up being a good day so I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya that it turns around! :)

Mornings.... why do they suck so much? You wouldve thought that after morning starting almost everyday since the beginning of the world, they would be a bit easier to endure.

I woke up late, didnt have time to make my normal lunch salad, grabbed left overs (ok, so that part, Im really not too upset about), no fruit in the house, so I grabbed one of Mrs E's cinnamon rolls. Hop in the van and start to work. 20 mins later, Mrs E calls. I left my VVbox at home. Right where I put it. On top of Charli's kennel when I put her to bed last night. Thank goodness Ive got my OG and a pair of fresh batts. I eat my cinnamon roll. Now Im nauseated because it was so sweet. I even threw half of it out the window. My check engine light came on at some point this morning. No clue why....

Yep.... 4 Mondays in a row.

You know how to tell a year is going by too fast? I had been so distracted, I finally did my taxes last night.
Hope they went well for you! My third time through I managed to come out not oweing them money (after having to go back and find additional documentation for deductions)... I received a total return of $4!:lol:

Hey, thats a beer (two if youre lucky) at a bar! Or about a gallon of gas if youre in the Charlotte area. Ive heard its MUCH more in other parts of the country.

A glimmer of hope for my day has presented itself. My Jug-O-House and bottle of Cool Aid have made it to Charlotte! That means i should have it by tomorrow.

I'm getting a lot more back than I was anticipating, even after I had adjusted my W4 last year to try and get my refund amount closer to 0 (don't like it being in the hands of someone else when I can do so much better with it myself).

And soon, will be graduating from crates to shipping containers, to finally end up as a house.

Awesome James! I will keep my fingers crossed and perhaps it will continue to improve!

About the refund...very true... I'm not complaining...much... because the wife and I had a good year and paid off some of our debts (two people in a household with teenagers and both with student loans bites) :) After one more year like the last perhaps we can pay off our debts other than her loans and the house.

We usually get much more back... but with the oldest out of the house and living on her own now it appears that will change. *shrugs* It's worth it to see her start to realize what all is involved just in making it in life... in a few more years she may even start growing up a bit! (She's only 18) ;) For the first time in her life she has gotten a job by herself and has kept working there for longer than 5 months!!! (her previous record was 2!)

I wish I had the ethics/morals/guts to allow me to cheat on taxes like some people I know... but then again the experience with that IRS audit a couple of years ago reminds me why I am glad that I do not!

Here in TX that $4 was about 1 gallon of unleaded plus gas right now. ;)

I just saw unleaded plus here now at $4.04. I see you are from Austin, I have a friend there and visited several times and loved it, except for the heat in the summer (once for Halloween, and twice for the ACL). I need to reach out to her, been too long.

Pool...I'm in love with the new glass bottles too..
the droppers are awesome because they don't
drip everywhere...only where you want them to...

VV... are they medicine style droppers? I have not seen the new bottles yet... also any idea when the switchover will be complete and what sizes will be the glass and which will not?

Thanks in advance!

Nothing frightening in the shower this morning. But Jake figured out that he could look down and see me in there. It's hard to shower looking up and talking to your dog. Luckily Victor had not figured it out. Yet. Thankfully we should be done with all but the tile work within a week. If all goes as planned that is. The plumbing was a mess and had to all be re done, the wiring needed to be added for the heat pump and the whirly pump.... blech. It will be so worth it though! And to not shower with that hole above your head = priceless.

Jd..I didn't know that...thanks for the tip...cool..

My wife use to do it all the time on her old car. The first time she called freaking out the light was on I didn't know wth. There obviously could be other problems but I would check that first. It won't go off instantly though, it has to run through all its test. Drive it a day or two. Now if the light is blinking and not on steady, it usually indicates a more serious problem.
