That was a huge "concern" of mine when we got her. I know her mother is a pure bred standard poodle. Thats where she's getting a lot of her size from. But I hate the long skinny snout of poodles. Not that I wouldnt love her if she looked like a poodle, but Im glad she doesnt look like one. At least not fully.
There's a 3 dog/cat limit in most places here too. Doesn't stop the hoarders at all. Actually we had a neighbor that was a cat hoarder. She just cut them all loose on the property. Which meant we all had tons of cats in our yards. 
Most of them are gone now. She passed away, and we all have been catching cats and giving them over to the humane society.

the rule is stupid..it stops responsible people from being
able to give pets that no one wants a good home....
my 5 are better cared for than a lot of 1 dog homes....

Speaking of dogs and cats..did anyone else get an email from phiniac? They have new tanks "phinny and phanny" and another one too. Portions of the sale go to the humane society.

My dog is maitnence free i let her hair grow untill it gets cought on the steps and rips out.. "Hair cut" I let her nails get long so they break off, I leave the toilet seat up for water, kids feed her whatever they dont eat i put artificial turf on my porch so i dont need to walk her if im real lazy i just throw her out the window...... Funny thing? she still loves me

I've not had a pit bull but I have a German Shepherd.(Babysitting her for my son) She can't do steps anymore and there's 20 steps to his Apt. So I will say this...German Shepherds are the smartest,alertest,bestest buddy ever. When they love you it's forever. When my son comes to visit she cries like a baby when he comes and when he leaves...What a frightening creature.
It mustve been a Monday yesterday. It was a slow posting day on the thread. Poor VV trying to revive it all by her lonesome. I never came back in last night to say good night. Mrs E went to work for a little bit after we got the kids to bed, and she came home to me snoring on the couch. I dont even remember dozing off.
This morning, I changed my routine up ever so slightly. I decided to let the dogs out while I ate my banana for breakfast outside. Normally, Mrs E does that after I leave for work. As I was about to head out the door, CJ woke up and started his day bouncing off the walls as usual, which will normally wake the girls up. But their door was still closed as I headed out the door. I get in my work van and start it, and I see Melanie and Charli watching me out the door. So, I got back out and went to the door to give her a hug goodbye, and she had tears in her eyes. I asked her why she was crying and she said "I dont know." I said are you sure? She said, no... So why are you crying? Because I thought you were leaving without saying I love you.... My heart melted and broke at the same time. I didnt matter that she was still in bed when I walked out the door. She just knew she wasnt getting her hug and kiss good bye. But she was all smiles running back through the house to start her day.
My inlaws came over yesterday. I get along better with my inlaws than I do my own parents. Anywho, FiL was in the hospital Friday to have his gall bladder removed, so we were dog sitting. Their dog doesnt care for Charli, but she and Cocoa are sisters, just from a different litter. So they came by yesterday to pick her up. My MiL said Charli was ugly. And that she gets uglier the bigger she gets. "Her fur is all scraggly, and shes got mismatched colors!" Thanks Ma. Arent you just a sweetheart.

Pits are easily one of my favorite dogs. Next dog will be either a pit or german shepard.

I would like one with two dogs. And am trying to resist. I want one of the witchdoctor ones. So I am saving my pennies for that.
